Yi will save this team and the haters will become belyievers. Book it.

We sorely need offense at the 4 position. Yi coming back can only help us. He was playing well before his injury. The confidence level was definitely up.

Look at his game tonight, this guy can play I mean he is one the big #4 who can do all the
inside -out in the game.

I liked Yi against my Timberwolves. He looked nice out there even hitting the 3 pointer. Him and Lee were the reason this game wasn't decided early on. He should give your team a boost just like Love's recovery gave us.

Yi is good against Rockets. Yi get into a groove fast after coming back from injury.

I just got back from a Nets game, wow Yi has gotten a lot better. He does not get enough respect in this league. He takes some soft jumpers, but when he slashes to the rim he's pretty damn deadly as evidenced by those big dunks. Him and Terrence Williams are both players that don't get much respect in this league. You Nets fans have to do a better job representing. In my opinion the one thing that holds Yi back is his rebounding and defense. He's gotta pick that up to another level to really become a solid player and live up to his no.6 draft selection.

I want to compile a list of all the haters so they can be addressed accordingly for their close minded evaluations...

seriously, experience on the floor is everything...along with Yi just maturing physically and mentally...

you can start with members on the Warriors and Bucks board, but be aware that if Yi starts to slip again they'll be out in full force

He had some pretty nice blocks during this game and played overall good defense, the rebounding I would agree, but it's hard when Lopez is gobbling them all up.

^That's exactly what my friend said when I mentioned that I wanted Yi's rebounding to be up to around 8/9; he was like, well, if Lopez had stayed around the 12ish area instead of 14, Yi probably would have had one or two more rebounds.

Eh even after the added muscle Yi's frame is still pretty slender couple that with his need to improve his basketball IQ / boxing out and I think we're going to have to live with Yi's current rebounding issues for now...

...no matter how much his game grows...he hasnt even cracked the surface of what it can look like if he polishes his game up...you can see the rough edges specifically as a rebounder...locating his man under the basket/timing of the ball coming off the rim/glass and rough put backs when he does grab the board...its just the fact of how well he is reacting to the ball coming off the rim...its night and day compared to last year's avg game...he also has started to show some glimpses of a decent shot blocker...just with his size alone he is able to use it to alter shots...but I think now, he is following the ball better and getting his hand on it with more regularity...

If Yi can maximize his defensive game by using his length consistency...he'll become a better overall player...it looks like he is headed in that direction...
