How about this?

Post#1 » by Juicy Juice » Sat Jan 2, 2010 11:57 am

Boston gets:
Gerald Wallace
Boris Diaw
Andre Miller

Portland gets:
Tyson Chandler

Charlotte gets:
Ray Allen
Brian Scalabrine
Steve Blake

Charlottle could buyout Ray Ray, and he could re-sign with us.

This trade gives us depth, Portland a big man, and Charlotte a ton of cap space. That team is obviously going nowhere.

Rondo/Miller/House
Wallace/R.Allen/T.Allen
Pierce/Daniels
Garnett/Diaw/Davis
Perkins/Wallace

Scalabrine for Wallace, Diaw, and Miller? Where do I sign? Don't see why Charlotte would really want to buyout Ray Allen for us though.

From what I've read, Blake is available but not A. Miller. Why trade both at once if you're Portland?

I wouldn't mind it at all if Ainge could acquire Diaw. I prefer to have him over G. Wallace, but getting them both makes no sense. They're both small forwards like Pierce.

There's no way Portland would do it. Chandler has been injured a lot of games this season and it destroys one of their biggest strengths, which is point guard.

I don't see Charlotte doing it either, they actually have a chance of making the playoffs. This is the most talented team they've had.

Charlotte would not trade Gerald Wallace. They might make the playoffs this year and he's their team's heart and soul. I can't imagine them doing that... they might start selling a few jerseys and tickets. Even if they did do this, they would never buy out Ray Allen. They're desperate for fans right now and going into basement team mode again would not be in their best interests. They'd just ask him to try to score 50 every night and hope to win 10 games.

And I don't think Portland would do this either. The last thing they want is another center who gets hurt every season. Especially at the expense of their starting and backup point guards... That leaves them with just Bayless who really is a combo guard at this point in his career and probably can't handle PG responsibilities.

Boston would do this in a heartbeat, but it sounds like Danny Ainge wrote this trade up while smoking something funky and not consulting the other GMs first to hear what they might be interested in.
