Paul Westphal failed in his defensive strategy, he was hoping for a down screen on Udoka on where Udoka would be on Kobe if Pau went to screen for Kobe. So in case it came then they would be evenly matched, but the screen didn't come because Pau never went to screen for Kobe so Udoka was stuck. What happened was Kobe screened for Sasha who was nothing more than a decoy. All Kobe did was use the fundamentals that good coaches teach you from high school on up. He walked his man down, V-cut away, received the ball using a jump stop, squared up and shot a good shot. Ball game.

i just read that people are crying about kobe possibly being out of bounds, wow. i thought it was obvious he kept his heels up and paul westphal himself is STARING at kobe's feet no more than 2 feet away. i thought the crying was just about the contact with the kings' defender.

Damn Kobe is so clutch. He pushed off a little bit but come on its the last play of the game. You have to be physical in this league or you'll get steam rolled.

Sense we're going to over analyze supposed phantom fouls.......they could've call a blocking foul on Rodriguez.

I'm just sayin......
