Peace and blessings all,

Just wanted to drop in and let you guys know that former Griz Stromile Swift and Andre Emmett are over in China teaming up for the Shandong Gold Lions.

Swift and Emmett have played every game for the first four games, going 2-2. Swift had a particularly impressive statistical performance in his fourth game, with 21 points, 8 boards, 3 assists, 10 steals, and 5 blocks in a close loss to the defending champion Guangdong Tigers.

The full season schedule can be found at the following page, which also has links to boxscores:

Id like to add some info. Micheal dickerson is training in the canary island (spain) so maybe he can play in 2nd division of spain.

Do any of you know what's going on with Antonio Burks? I know he was shot last year but i haven't heard if he was still playing ball.

If there was one player who I think deserves another shot at the NBA, it is Dickerson. I hope he does well in Spain.

^^ well buddy, aint sure how old is Mdickerson. the thing is i have always heard good things from him, i started to follow the grizzs in the 00-01 season, once he was already with all those injury problems. guess he gotta be older inaf to know he is not able to get another shot at the nba. anyway, replay at the non.top level in spain is always a nice way to go. I still remember that line up in the gasol.battier rookie year: MIckael dickerson should have been at SG spot.
PG: jason williams.
SG: Rodney buffford
SF: Battier
PF: Gasol
C: Lorenzen wright.

BTW, good 2010 for y'all. at this time im at home drunk after partying all nite long. here in europe we are 6:33 hours in the 2010!!!

I might be wrong, but I thought the Grizz brought him (and a few other guys) in for a "free agent camp" work out at the end of last year or in the summer.

The Grizlies did bring in in Dickerson in May, along with about 750 other people. He's now signed in the LEB Gold (Spanish second division) with a not very good team called Palencia. It's inauspicious down there. Hasn't played a game yet; first game is on Sunday.

Emmett is averaging 43.8 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.2 steals through his first 5 games. Swift averages 19.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 3.0 blocks and 2.8 steals.

Yeah, that happened. He got cut in training camp if I am not mistaken.

I heard about Stro in China. Was not sure about Emmett. Stro can still play, but like Bonzi Wells, is not really getting too many looks. Should receive some contract looks in the future.

As for Dickerson: favorite NBA player for a long time. I hope he succeeds. Got to love any guy who is willing to work himself back after an injury ridden career.
