I was wrong.......so far

Post#1 » by jman3134 » Sun Jan 3, 2010 1:17 am

While I don't take back what I said about Thabeet vs. Rubio, I was wrong with how well I thought the Grizzlies would play this year. Gay has been phenomenal as I hoped he would. Should be an allstar. OJ Mayo is alright despite how hard it is to admit that. Conley Jr. has been hot and cold, but played well recently. And, Marc and Zach have formed the most dynamic offensive rebounding frontcourt in the league. Kudos for playing tough basketball and picking guys to fit this style. The future is bright once we trade Conley Jr. :P :P

We´re a bench away from being a contender

I really don't see why people keep saying that Rudy is having a phenomenal season. He's had a few phenomenal games, but they've usually been surrounded by some disastrous games. Like the Heat game he was awesome. Then he disappeared for a long time. He has his first great game since the Heat game against the Pacers, and then what does he do? Looks like the worst player on the team against the Suns the very next game.

He's been good, but not phenomenal...and definitely not all-star worthy.

Maybe it is the fact that I haven't see him every game and maybe caught him during his good stretches? Or is this a debatable point?

I agree with 360. Gay is not even in the playoff run. Gasol or Zbo has more chances for me to make it to the all star. He has been playing well like ALL the starters so far, with a few great games. i think the core of our succes is the rebouning and the scoring in the paint. we must be one of the best teams in that stats.

wow, thats crazy. unless the bench is L.Odom, J.Terry, M.Ginobili and Varejao or a big guy like that.
