NE Patriots @ Hou. Texans. To Rest or not to rest.

Regular Season record: 10-5

Image

New England Patriots @ Houston Texans.
Sunday January 3rd. 1:00 PM
TV: CBS. Radio: 98.5 sports hub.

I can't believe this is the last game of regular season. It flew by. The question is, do we rest our starters. I'd hate to see them shut it down completely. Here's hoping we play hard right through the game with our starters and when the back-ups are sent in, they can get it done.

One thing for sure is Houston is gonna be hungry. Fighting for the playoffs. Who knows, we might even play them next week in the WC match if we lose to them today.

Go Pats!!

Bernard Pollard is the patriots jinx.

Just feel bad for welker, and our sb hopes just got slimmer. ****!

Mother ****!! **** you Bernard Pollard. You don't deserve a TD.

I never liked the play call of going under center from your own 1 yard line. Too risky. Go in shotgun form and sling it, or qb sneak.

Brian Hoyer is looking nice. I think we still have a chance with our backups.

This is exactly like the Tor-Bos basketball game yesterday. I mean, are we really gonna beat this team with out backups? Hopefully.

Heh, minus welker, this turned out to be a pretty good game. Darius Butler with a long int td return. Fred Taylor finally getting it going.

One of the strangest games this season. Pats lose. Final Regular Season Record-10-6.

Thoughts

-Taylor looked good out there, minus the fumble.
-Guys like Edelman and aiken didn't look to bad.
-Slowley, I am starting to like our pass rush. Burgess is doing good along with banta cain.
-What a return by Butler. Good to see him get a TD.
-Gostkowski sure can boot it.

I'll make separate threads on welkers injury and who we will face in our first round match-up.

Anybody else miss Jabar Gaffney? 12 rec 187 yards receiving so far today (with Kyle Orton throwing him the ball)...

I do, but the way he played last year looked like he was done. Dropped a lot of key passes.

Anyway, it's official, we're facing Baltimore. Now we're just waiting on which seed we get.
