Ahhhhhh so close to a win.

CJ did not get his 102 yards, he got 86. 16 yards shy of getting his second 1,000 yd season. Did anyone else catch the announcers talking about Stafford and Calvin calling each other to set up some off season planning/work outs so they can figure out how to be one of the leagues best tandems in the league? I LOVE IT!!!! These two guys are going to try and carry this team into the postseason.

Aaron Brown needs to play more. I've been saying it all year and I'll continue saying it until he plays. I don't understand why he's mostly used as a punt returner. He has good vision, a great ability to change direction and he's very explosive when he gets a seem. Even when Kevin Smith was healthy, we never utilized Morris or Brown.

Louis Delmas had a hard time out there (almost got himself another interception) but he got some good hits in before leaving the game. I hope he rests up this offseason and gets ready for next year.

DeAndre Levy was VERY active at MLB the past two games. This kid is just great. He played OLB in college but Schwartz says that he wants him to be our MLB of the future. Watching him play, I think the future is now.

Jason Hunter played well. He really rushed the passer (forcing Cutler to speed up his throws and miss) and even got a sack in there on Cutler. He's been hampered by injuries this year but I'd really like to see him healthy next season.

We tried to win the game. Came close in the forth. But just fell short at the end. It seems a good chunk of our losses have ended this way. It makes me wonder "what if?" but mostly it makes me hopeful that Mayhew will continue building this team and Schwartz will coach them into a playoff game.

You are a Lions fan LOL

Damn, is it too soon for the Rams to come to terms with Jimmy Clausen so the Lions can work on their deal with Suh?

Illogical picks and maneuvers in everything you listed in your other posts. It's not about players being busts, it's about alternative choices that would yield a better overall team for the future that has a greater chance of winning the Super Bowl. That's what Mayhew is acting against. I'm sure his intentions are good, but it's the actions that count the most.

He picked players that are contributing. That's what the Lions need. Think of it like this TSE; When Matt Millen was fired, our ENTIRE team is a big hole to be filled with the exception of our number 1 WR. He drafted a QB that will be a ProBowl QB one day. He drafted a LB that will anchor our defense one day. He drafted a safety that broke rookie defensive records and will be DAMN good one day. He signed vets that will teach our young guys the ropes (Which is the key to progression. Just think Aaron Rodgers. He learned under Favre for 3 years and he's a top 5 QB now cuz of it)
