great dominating win.. I don't know what the bengals get out of this, but they got manhandled and I don't see how that changes next week..

Nice game from Greene and Jones as well as Sanchez..

Defense is studly, as is the offensive line..

After last years collapse with favre, this is so sweet!!

2009 NY JETS... playoff bound!!!!!!!!!!!

collinsworth made a good point.. this jet team has veterans, but they are also built for the future... O-line with mangold and brick is pretty darn young... even with vets on the line..

rookie QB.. young receivers, TE, shonn green and maybe leon washington at RB

Defense with revis, rhodes, harris, thomas and even scott are all very young or under 30..

I love the direction of this team...

Last night proved once again why I love Collinsworth as an announcer. Very knowledgable and gives us a lot of insight on line play and action away from the ball. That's what I want to see, I want to see the color guy point out stuff you don't see in full speed at first. He also made good comments on the Jets and was mainly spot on with his analysis.

Great game by the Jets, now they just should not get overconfident. Great season already with a rookie QB and rookie HC...
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...

playoffs!

but my main focus this offseason really, would be a TE and WR. IMO Dustin Keller has not been very good this season. he has not done ish.

and with edwards going into free agency, we need to re-sign him or get a replacement.

Well we know what he can do with an experienced QB. I say give him one more season to gel with Sanchez and let him work on his blocking in the offseason.

Brandon Marshall is going to be a RFA, but the Broncos say a first and a third will be what they need for a trade. We could also go for a WR in the draft. Maybe Damian Williams, who's played with Sanchez.

I say we still should go after another CB to play opposite Revis. Sheppard's been giving away lots of catches or penalties with Revis Christ on the other side of the field.

I wouldn't mind looking for line depth either.

I've been posting the last two-three weeks. Work's been killing me. I'll be around for playoffs, whether it's 1 or 4 games.

Return to New York Jets
