Wild Card Lead-up : Pack @ Arizona - Sunday, 3:30 PM Fox

Post#1 » by Kerb Hohl » Mon Jan 4, 2010 1:00 am

Dungy was saying on SNF tonight that the Cards may be at an advantage for not playing to win.

I'm assuming he didn't watch because throttling them I think gives the Pack an advantage considering we probably showed them nothing anyways. Woody being healthy will be key because I can't see the Cards running the ball at all.

Cards:

CB- DRC: Fine, should be good to go (knee contusion)
WR- Boldin: Says he's OK (ankle and knee injuries)
DE- Campbell: Doesn't sound good for him, maybe have to get surgery done on his thumb and not sure if he can play through it yet.

Figured you guys may want to know how stupid we are. 3 huge injuries and Campbell is our best pass-rusher.

Just like his colts teams were in an advantage every time he rested them up right...

All the speculation is Saturday. Apparently on 620 they echoed this. I know it is going to be the night game but whether it is 7 PM, I'm not sure that is the time.

It will be a different game next week, but you can't tell me that the Packers didn't get in their heads today. The Cardinals aren't like an early 1990's Dallas team that was loaded up and down the roster and simply could turn things on and off with a flick of the switch.

We probably have our most favorable matchup I think. A-Rod looks very comfortable on that natural grass and nice weather out there.

He later picked the Packers anyways, but he thought it "might" be to the advantage of the Cards.

Why in God's name would Leinart start? Is there an injury I don't know about?

Dungy just picked Arizona to win saying "they got hot in the playoffs last year".
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah that 96 passing yards he had was intimidating

Just noticed that, sorry. I guess that article had it wrong. I'm extremely thankful it is sunday. I'm traveling back to school Saturday afternoon/evening.

Dungy seems to be ultra conservative in late season strategies. He always rested his guys and basically could care less once he clinched, so I think he is put off by the Packers playing their starters through the first 3 quarters. I think beating Arizona soundly in the 3rd (most important) preseason game and beating them soundly today will mess with their head, especially if we get a quick TD on our first drive and stop them on theirs.

Yeah, I also noticed Dungy picked the Packers in the pregame show then picked Cards at halftime. Maybe he was just waffling to cover his ass whoever wins but he came off as clueless.
