But we are 60 on Rivals and 29 on Scout. Minnesota is ranked higher (as they are every year) on Rivals and we will as usual win 10+ the next few years while they win 4-7 games.

There are 3 recruits on Wisconsin's commitment list who they haven't even bothered to evaluate. Those players are assigned a 0 and it's dragging Wisconsin's point total.

Also, Minnesota has taken 4 more commits, and in their formula, they credit programs for numbers of commitments. Which is stupid, because it's not an achievement to have room for so many players. It should go by average star rating. If you assume that Lewallen and Costigan would receive 3-stars, and Wright 2 (that's what I'd give them), and appropriately factor in James White into the average; Wisconsin's star's per recruit would be 2.91. Still not quite as high as Minnesota's, who is at 3.04, but it's more competitive.

Once you factor in that a few of Minnesota's academic risks won't end up qualifying, and they'll get only 2 years out of their JUCO's....Wisconsin projects to have a more productive class. Look at the rankings next September and also lop a star or two off their JUCO's for lack of longevity, and it should match up closer with reality.

Well, if it works like GPA, a 3.04 at Minnesota would probably be closer to a 2.04 at UW, so your 2.91 recruiting class must be a lot better than theirs.
