I think this is a smart pick-up by the Colts as Simeon Rice is very familiar with the Tampa 2, and can provide speedy pass rushing to the Colts in Freeney's absence. I've also noticed that this team could use another speedy pass rush specialist to spell Freeney and Mathis because we lose a lot when we put in Josh Thomas and Jeff Charleston in that department. Even if he doesn't pan out, the move costs the Colts virtually nothing.

It's kind of ironic how he is filling in for the guy who plays him in the original Tampa 2 model.

So much for this. I thought he looked decent, but a lot of the speed is definately gone.
