Heh, I'm willing to start soon I guess.

I was kind of hoping it would wait until the weekend.

Actually, I'm wrong. Didn't realize dcash had over 23K.

I'm close to 16K. Somebody should bake a cake, or something.

I dont mind finishing the game as long as other GMs dont offer max contracts to players who really dont deserve max contracts. And when i say this, i am sure those who have been playing this for over 2 years now know exactly what i mean by that.

Nobody has taken a team they had last go round and even though he skipped a game he had his Kings last time he played. I think you should get them this go round since you posted 1st and let deNIED try on a different team for variety's sake.

I can already tell you the moves he will absolutely not make if he is King's GM at least with a different team it would be more up in the air in terms of direction.

I know you probably aren't interested in a person with a low post count, but I can guarantee you that I am active even if I don't post much. I post more on a different forum, but I am always checking these forums several times a day, so I really don't care about which team I might get.

Again I know my post count sort of disqualifies me, but I am browsing this forum.

This time dont be surprised when I offer max contracts to players who didnt deserve it cz i have played this game 3 times or so and everytime i chose the teams with good cap spaces and worked with them in order to acquire some big names in the free agency, offering contracts that seemed realistic, didn't know people were gonna pull a Bryan Colangelo here (offering bargs that ridiculous deal). This time I am gonna stay till the end of this game :)

Honestly, if you're already complaining before we even start maybe you should reconsider (or Mascot should).

Nothing personal, but this just doesn't look good.

calderon13 - You had Rondo last go round and he was offered a good sized contract but it was not a max deal. You never replied to my emails to see if you would match it. If you had been paying attention in the last game you would have seen that I cut down dramatically on the unrealistic contracts. They were almost nonexistent actually.

you may chose a team, its first come first served. If players are finding you are not replying to their emails or seem to have disappeared you will be replaced. Everyone is welcome to play and post count is not everything, one guy who signed up on the raptors board posted 130 times the first day. Dosen't mean he was reading the board for the next 3 weeks after that.

As if Rondo was gonna make me any good right. All I am saying, i m here till the end of this game but I wont be just as realistic as I have been in the past while offering contracts during the FA season.

Wait a second, isn't it a competitor's prerogative if they want to sign a ridiculous contract provided they have the space to do it?

Am I missing something here?

Can we move the chitchat to the suggestions thread?

Rondo would have made your team much better for the future as well as keeping him away from another team and you still had enough capspace to attract a big name FA, if you would have went after one that is.

You were set up pretty good to make a run at LeBron and I would have seriously considered sending him there if you didn't just vanish from the game.

anyway...

unfortantly that is what this game is. You can do what you want with your cap space and max out whoever you want. Run your team how you want. Yes it is a joke when Rudy gay gets a max deal, but how else would a team get him to come if they do not overpay?

Good luck
