I don't consider a broken wrist part of being injury prone. The other stuff is just the nicks and bruises that come with being a #1 option that draws fouls. Kobe had a similar injury history if you look at his seasons, probably took him awhile to diversify his game to be productive without playing reckless. Wade has missed tons of games too, it comes with the territory. I look at it like an opportunity, a broken wrist is just a freak injury and if he were healthy all season, the Wolves wouldn't be able to get a sniff for this kind of package, but as it is they might have a prayer.
He's missed 20+ games the last 3 seasons, all built around a significant injury (groin, ankle, now wrist). This isn't minor stuff, and if it were it would still be a concern because he's missing games. Regardless of any reasoning behind why he's missing games all that matters is that he is, and this should negatively impact his trade value and his possible worth to the Wolves.

So ... Love, Jefferson and Brewer have significantly lower value after their injuries? Yes, I do realize we're talking 3 consecutive seasons on Martin, but I still think it's an exaggerated issue. We have a severe need for someone who can score. Flynn is going to be an average NBA player. Our future currently rides within the next draft (Wall) and Rubio, IMO.
Here's a potential 10-players team I'd write home about...
Wall - Rubio - Sessions - Ellington
Martin - Brewer - Gomes
Love - Jefferson - Hollins

Somehow I am still surprised at the tendency of fans to repeatedly take the short view and overreact instead of taking the long view and withholding judgment.
I think it's an exaggerated view because of how YOU choose to measure it...You think it's an exaggerated issue because that's how you're choosing to measure it
Flynn has looked like a good basketball player. He has not looked like an irreplaceable basketball player nor like a highly skilled passer. I like his game, but Kevin Martin has 25 ppg skill and lives at the FT line and is money from 3. Basically everything we need right now.

Wow, aren't we full of philosophy when someone doesn't agree with your hypothetical opinion...

I agree, but I'm not overly concerned with "right now". Right now, the only reason I wouln't do the trade is because Martin would lower my odds of drafting Wall. We'd have to hope he got hurt...

There's nothing "hypothetical" or "opinionated" about a guy with an injury history that results in less of an impact for his team. Martin does, in fact, have a history of significant injuries and this does, in fact, prevent him from playing and putting up his 25 a night while living on the free throw line. His range does not extend to the bench while sitting in a suit.
Then perhaps you should actually put forth some sort of standard (or at least explain why this isn't valid) for when injuries become a concern instead of mindlessly complaining and thinking that a comparison to a player with one season under his belt is somehow valid.
