Hammers: Bobcats Vs Bulls

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Wed Jan 6, 2010 2:38 am

Image: Crash. Nothing more to add. Just typing "Crash" should cover all the bases.

Image: Flip. Had an outstanding night scoring the ball and hit big shots.

Image: Jax. Used his size well against the smaller Bulls guards. Hit those two big FT's to close out the game for us.

I have a feeling we would have crushed tonight it it weren't for Ray . I mean, Rose had half of his points when Augustin was on the floor. And Ray's buzzer beater at the end of the third turned out to be the difference.

Rose smoked everyone in the 4th. Ray included.

He destroyed Augustin, though. Six points in about one minute, and four the rest of the quarter. Just Imagine if we had Emeka. At least a couple of those would have been sent back.

He totally had his way with DJ - although Nazzy kept hanging him out to dry. Even the horribly biased Bulls announcers commented.

That game when EO50 went nutzoid on Rose blocking all his shots was SICK. One of EO50's shining moments as a Bobcat IMO.

G: Wallace
S: Murray
B: Jackson

HM: Honestly, had Felton connected on that tomahawk dunk I would've had to give him a hammer just for that. He did hold us together, although it seemed like he just came up short on a few shots that would've taken him over 20 pts. Rose smoked DJ but it didn't get much better when Ray came in. I think the bigger problem was there was no help behind him. He was using picks to get around them and nobody was helping underneath. Our interior D is horrendous when we let Boris be our center.

When he came off that curl, the paint was wide open and he put the jets on I was like "no freaking way, he's not going to.............".

I was literally standing up off the couch when he left the ground. I thought it was in all the way - then when he had to cock it back I nearly pooped with excitment.

Would have been the play of the year had he thrown it down.

Jackson- He was shooting over the Bulls guards like they were little kids. I found it funny!!

Yeah, I would've waken up our baby had he thrown that down with some cheering. Would've been awesome, and I appreciate the attempt. Sometimes plays like that can lead to a momentum boost too.

I don't think I've seen three missed alley oops like that in a game, let alone attempts from the Bobcats. Its one of Tyson's stronger plays....don't know why we don't attempt it more when he is playing.

watching via stream it was hard to tell if those alley oops went down or not. they were all spectacular attempts.
