I don't think Pierce belongs on that list.
* Kidd should be in his place or Yao.

I like the list. Wade above pierce is a little iffy (I really don't even like Wade on the list, but can't think of too many people to replace him with that have titles, so he stays,) and Duncan over Kobe is another one I question. In my mind Duncan started falling off in 06 and has been drug along most of the season by Parker/Manu

I like Yao also, but he hasn't won crap and he's spent a good chunk of the decade in a suit or in a hospital bed. Kidd is a very strong case to kick Wade/Pierce off the list. My others of the top of my head:
McGrady for pure firepower, dude was unstoppable for half the decade
Ray Allen for longevity/durability, did his thing night in and out and still
Parker/Manu: duncan would be exposed without these two, they make SA what they are
Melo check his stats, he is only a championship away from having a better career than Wade

I like the list, except for Billups who I think doesn't belong.
Duncan #1 all the way. He has as many titles as Kobe and was always the unquestioned #1 on each title team. BTW he is still putting up a 28 PER this year.

Yeah, Kidd or Iverson over Billups for sure.

ooooh good call on Iverson.
Billups is hard to ignore though. Look at the turnaround he's spured with the Pistons and now the Nugs. He's got a championship, the finals MVP is hard to ignore too. 4x Allstar, host of all-NBA/defensive teams and some pretty decent stats

True, but Iverson put up the same stats as Billups except for averaging 12 points more a game. He also single-handedly took a team to the finals, that Pistons team was a 5 man show.
I think I'd go Iverson 10, Kidd 11 and then a big drop after that.

Re: OT: Decade's Best
i think the rightful thing to do would be to make 2 lists. 10best to win championships, and 10best to not. Outside of Nash, everyone on that list has been to the finals. It also opens up things for more guys who were drafted later in the decade and haven't had valid late playoff runs.
