After Evans and Jennings it gets a bit hazy. I think Curry, Casspi, and Flynn (in no particular order) are second tier talents and it really is debatable with these three.

Still, it's good to see a pretty independent source call Flynn #3.

I don't know about Curry since he's been more inconsistent then stellar lately, but I wouldn't be upset if they put Casspi above Jonny. He's having one hell of a rookie season.

Jennings has even started to fall off I think. But Evans is clearly number one till we see if Martin wrecks his style. Flynn and Casspi are definately 3/4 in no particular order.

jennings has dropped in stats precipitously. that being said, there's no one other than the three. it's a REALLY bad year, like everyone said. i mean,,,take a look at the list...it's HORRID

Why isn't DeJuan Blair on that list?

blair doesn't play enough minutes. he's got good stats and is a very good player, but he's just a role player for the time being. He's only averaging 15min a game i think.

That would be a very reasonable explanation if the rest of that list didn't suck #@%. But that's probably their reasoning, so thanks.

Jennings has fallen of big time.

It is like I have stated before I'd rather have Jonny Flynn or Stephen Curry on my team than Brandon Jennings.

I like how Wayne is first on honorable mention.

I think Casspi should be 3, Lawson 4

This topic is perfect evidence of why the upcoming draft is so critical to the Wolves. Last years draft was not strong, and IMO, Flynn is merely an average reflection of the top 20. I wish the stats would reveal how often these rookies are getting beat on defense rather than just their offensive numbers.

Rubio appears like he'd be a natural fit on this club as it stands, but since we have not been blessed with the opportunity to determine his NBA staying power, we need to focus on what we can control most - developing the players we have. Put the work in and it's always possible to increase their value as we head towards the trade deadline and/or the draft.

The 2010 NBA draft is where it's at ... we need to nab that SPECIAL player that can impact the game on any given night.

3rd best sounds about right, I don't think Curry gets in the conversation for top 3. Most likely 4th best if Griffin was healthy. He definitely was a pick with good potential considering his physical gifts and scoring skills so I comfortably stand by it and Rubio too for that matter 100% so far. I might even take him over Jennings even after his hot start, because for all his talent, he's on the fast track to a sub 40% fg season.

So far he's looking like a top 3-5 rookie taken at #6. No complaints.

I wouldn't be too enthused as the #1 overall pick and Rubio haven't even played a minute yet. So basically he is #3 out of the top 4 picks.

I think he could end up as one of the top guys from this draft in the future, but right now it looks like he was drafted where he was supposed to be drafted.

If it ends up he was drafted where he was supposed to be, I have no complaints. Can't complain if you get the 6th best player with the 6th pick.

For us number-junkies, I thought this was a nice article comparing Flynn to the other rookie PG's

Looking at Flynn, Evans, Curry, and Jennings ... Flynns numbers are kind of disappointing, but after watching him play 30 games, I felt they'd be worse. Curry is the player that has grown on me the most and I feel the second half of the seaosn he will make some heads turn.
