What would the Thunder be willing to part with to get Bynum?
Would you do
Harden
Green
Mullens
Collison
for
Bynum
Expirings
best 2010 2nd
Gets you a legitimate center, while leaving you the cap space to get a legitimate PF. As a matter of fact, it frees up more cap room, and in my opinion makes OKC even more attractive to a Bosh type.
Possible 2010 young dynasty
PG- Westbrook / Maynor
SG- Sefolosha / higher 2010 1st
SF- Durant / lower 2010 1st
PF- Bosh / Ibaka / White / 2010 2nd rounder
C- Bynum / Ibaka / 2010 2nd rounder
I really think that trade would work for you guys. Then the Lakers would try to turn Green into something more useful, and make Harden a triangle PG (starter 12-18 mpg), and reserve SG (12-18 mpg, depending on how many minutes Kobe logs at SF.
Do you guys think Harden could be a legitimate triangle PG (I mean Ron Harper did it for both Chicago and LA)?

Harden wouldn't be able to guard quick PG's, but yeah I could see him being a triangle PG on offense.

HAHA!
How about Ethan Thomas. Matt Harpring, and Nick Collison for LeBron James?

That is ok, in those situations Kobe could guard the PG and Harden could take the SG.

Re: Andrew Bynum
Lakers don't need:
Harden, because Kobe is there and Phil's ideal point guard is a big 3 pt shooting defensive guy.
Green, would be nice, but Odom just signed a new contract.
Mullens, just don't need.
Collison, good for expiring, but to give up Bynum for expiring?
Lakers would not trade Bynum:
Bynum is 22 yrs old
His knee is still holding up.
Big enforcer in the paint that Pau can't do.
Lakers will have to find another center bc Mullen and Mebenga won't do.
You can have him after he blows his knees.
