If we lose this game, I might seriously contemplate drowning my sorrows by chugging a couple of bottles of wine.

The play against Miami makes me question dragging myself down to the arena tonight. Evidently they held a players only meeting, but in all honesty they can't prove they've righted the ship against NJ (even if they win) only that they haven't (if they lose). The weekend is the real litmus test.

My optimism wants to think that this players only meeting will help, but who ever knows. I hope we wax these damn Nets. Not gonna watch but there is no excuse in this game. GET BACK ON TRACK BOYS!!!
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

I hope Teague can get back in the rotation tonight! It sucks to lose 4 straight and he doesn't see the floor until we're down by 25.

We're winning, but I don't think we are playing at all well. Against a better opponent we'd probably be down by double digits.

Typical boost move to have a players only meeting when struggling and facing a 3 win team at home. If we win this game it has nothing to do with the meeting, but because we play better at home, and because we have more talent on the court.

We better start clicking again before the weekend!

Not much to gain from this game. The crowd looks pretty pathetic from the TV and the Hawks only played hard for the 1st quarter which is probably all they needed.

I just came within an inch of getting harmed by a tshirt fired by Skyhawk. It hit the rail at the top of the Al's Amigos sign.

The lack of 3-pointers for New Jersey has hurt them all season and they only had one tonight. I'm glad to see that Yi Jianlian had a good games and he continues to put up good numbers since his season started ten games ago.

It was a good game. I agree we weren't at our best, but the Nets are just horrible. It was nice seeing Teague bothering D. Harris here and there.... also a good thing see R. Morris playing some. He looks way better this season, specially against the Nets. I'd love for the Hawks to get T. Battie somehow. He's a a good younger version of Joe Smith.
GO HAWKS.

The game didn't do anything to give insight into our rough weekend schedule. The starters played hard for a quarter (enough to blow out the Nets) and then coasted for 2 exhibiting many of the bad habits that contributed to the 4 game losing streak. In the 4th the backups played hard and expanded the lead to 30. Still don't know if we can play a full game or what the starters will play like with a game on the line.

Also, attendance was horrible, but probably better than it deserved to be. New Jersey is as bad if not worse than the Hawks 13-69 team from Josh's rookie year. In a season of 41 home games if you didn't already have your tickets (part of a package like season tickets) or if you didn't get your ticket free then you could have waited for about 39 other games with a greater chance for a better game to watch.
