I think the safe bet is a trade between MN and Indy. We have 3 young pg's (Rubio, Flynn, Sessions).

Ed Davis wouldn't be a bad "second place" for us. Ditto for Derrick Favors.
I know he's down on Draftexpress's board, but I still like Greg Monroe a lot too, just not with a Top 5 pick at this point.

I've been following Monroe with great interest too. I guess he just hasn't taken a dominant leap in his second year which could be a sign of his limited potential. He's a fantastic passer for a bigman though.

The guy I really like as our PG for the future is Kalin Lucas out of Michigan State. Floor general mentality, involves others, but also can take the shot if he has to.
There's really only a handful of guys I like in the whole draft.
If you draft Lucas over Wall for any reason you should be fired immediately. The Pacers front office should be sacrificing their pets/children/players for the chance to draft Wall.

Ed Davis is #2 on my wish list. He will be a defensive/rebounding force.

Was I a "homer" when I called Ty Lawson a stud and everyone laughed at me?
Also, if I was a homer, I wouldn't have said Wayne Ellington would struggle in the NBA and that the Pacers should have never drafted Hansbrough. :-p

As a Pacer fan, I know damn well that getting John Wall is just too good to be true, so I'm not even considering it a possibility so I won't be dissapointed come lottery selection when a team like Detroit or New York miraculously wins the #1 overall pick while we get stuck at #7.

You are still a homer for saying Ed Davis is the #2 player in this draft.

I'm trying to think the same way. I just know in my heart that there is no way we will ever get the #1 pick, but the prospect of getting John Wall would seemingly be EXACTLY what our franchise needs to turn things around.
IF by some chance we get Wall, I would be willing to bet that we are a serious contendor in the east by Wall's 2nd season.
