On paper atlanta's bench get's the nod. Don't know who teague is but crawford has done well against the c's and smith and pachulia are serviceable bigs. Wonder if Tony gets the assignment on crawford.

I'm hoping the C's win but this is going to be a tough one. Hawks are looking to bounce back from their slump and they always play well against us.

I remember Crawford abusing House in the first meeting this year. TA looks a lot better on him.

I hope Pierce is feeling better after getting some nice run + a day of rest. I feel like this is a real gut check game. I just hope they come out with some fire and sustain it for most of the 48. I love these Bos/Atl games, this gon be fun..

Hawks will be playing like it is the finals again...they always play like that against us...just make Smith shoot jumpers, control the boards and stop Crawford off the bench...

Celtics on national tv crank up a close one.....by 3.

House, who missed the Miami game with flu-like symptoms, is expected to be available for tonight’s game, according to a team source.

Not feeling confident about this game. The C's have always had issues with athletic teams and it doesn't help that we're already beat up by injuries. Still, I thought they had no chance on Christmas Day and we know how that turned out.

Teague is our rookie point guard. He's shown some flashes of greatness, but also makes a lot of bad decisions and hasn't been making his floaters... but has been crushing dunks. Eh, he's a rookie, we'll give it some time.

The player I'm worried about is Kendrick Perkins. He is IMO massively underrated and has a noticeable size advantage over Horford, and the mean streak to really use it.

I don't have a good feeling about this one. Atlanta always plays us well, I believe they beat us last time.

Don't worry, the Celtics are hungry for revenge for the loss in their last meeting against the Hawks in Boston.
Although KG and Daniels are out, the C's have a fairly nice roster at the moment.
They just need to attack the basket and controll the boards. Last time they outrebounded us pretty badly.

Go Celtics!!
Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance!

...now guard Tony Allen is battling an illness of his own and did not take part in the shootaround.

Looks like TA is out today. He would be perfect for defending Johnson and Crawford...

That hurts. TA's ability to contain Crawford off the bench could've been the x-factor in this game, considering how badly Crawford smoked Eddie in the last game. Maybe Doc will give JR some minutes to try and match up with him...lol j/k.

Very tough game as the celtics do not match up well with these guys. I really am not expecting a win.
Reggie stood out like a sore thumb no tattoos no agenda no chirping nothing Just a guy who could score at will He played college ball at Northeastern he replaced Larry as Celtics captain he belonged to Boston.
And I still miss him. Even now.
