Golden State and Milwaukee have a deal to announce

Dan Gadzuric $6,749,260
Charlie Bell $3,602,960
Brandon Jennings $2,168,520
Total:12.52073

Stephen Curry $2,710,560
Speedy Claxton $5,209,454
Raja Belll $5,250,000
2010 2nd
Total: 10.455648
10.455648*1.25+.1= 13.16956

Golden State accepts. It was hard giving up Curry and taking back some longer contract to get Jennings, but we think this move puts us in a better position for future moves. We also did this to prevent Jennings scoring 55 against us again. Ha, now what Brandon Jennings? You can't score 55 points against your own team. It was nice dealing with you Mil.

Confirmed. Sucks giving up Jennings after all he's done already, but we get a similar caliber PG prospect in Curry while gaining mass amounts of financial flexibility, putting us in great position for 2010 FAs.

Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks have reached agreement on a trade

Phoenix Suns Trade:
C - Jarron Collins - $1,181,803
PF - Josh McRoberts - $825,497
SF - Yakhouba Diawara - $945,000
2010 Cleveland 2nd
2010 Phoenix 2nd

Milwaukee Bucks Trade:
Hakim Warrick - $3,000,0000

Phoenix Suns trade expirers and expendable picks (still have 2 2010 second rounders) for someone who is also an expirer, but likely to become part of plans beyond 2010. He brings athleticism and a spark off the bench and should fit well with the uptempo system.

Phoenix Accepts
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

to the Oklahoma City Thunder for

Jeff Green - 3,516,960
Brendan Haywood - 6,000,000
Etan Thomas - 7,906,088
2010 PHX 1st
2010 MIN 2nd returned
2011 OKC 1st
Total: 17,423,048 (*1.25=21,788,810)

While the Timberwolves hate to trade a guy like Jefferson, we like what we are getting in return. Not only do we save some longterm salary, but we also pick up a solid young wing prospect, a defensive anchor, and 2 first round picks, as well as getting our 2nd returned to us. We feel like the players we have will fit well into our system, and help to balance out our roster.

OKC accepts putting Jefferson next to Durant should help him a lot, easing the scoring on him. I hate giving up Green, Haywood and all of those picks but i really wanted to get Jefferson on this team.

Jawad Williams is waived by Cleveland to make room on the roster for Oberto.

Math: $11,541,074 X 1.25 = $14,426,342, which is more than $13,631,095.

As stated, I also waive Jawad Williams' unguaranteed contract before the deal.

The Cavs accept. We get Jamison basically for free.

Trade Approved, Jawad Williams $332,287 cap hit for Cleveland for this year and should be listed on the roster.

The Wizards shed long-term salary and get a potential replacement for Jamison on an unguaranteed deal.

Dallas accepts. We got Gilbert for pennies on the dollar. We have an owner, organizational structure and coaching staff that can do what it takes to allow him to be successful, unlike Washington (can you tell I'm a Wizards fan?).

Just to clarify to people Gilbert Arenas is considered 100% healthy and able to play, his suspension came after the game started.

Confirmed. We get a couple 2nd rounders from someone who wouldn't play many minutes here anyway, and someone we didn't plan on resigning. We also waive Diawara and Collins to stay under the roster limit.

sorry but this is illegal, you have to be under the roster limit BEFORE you make the trade. Also Milwaukee update your roster please since several of your trades have been approved.

C - Channing Frye - $2,000,000

Golden State Warriors Trade:
SF - Corey Maggette - $8,937,931

Following the arrival or Magliore and Andrew Bynum, despite having a career season, Channing Frye becomes expendable. The arrival of Maggette gives the Suns the ideal 6th man, a more reliable shooter than Barbosa and able to share minutes with the ageing Hill. Maggette is used to the uptempo system, and should be good for 20+ points when called upon.

Phoenix accepts this trade.

GSW cut Mikki Moore prior to the trade.

GSW accept. We like Frye, who give us some insurance in case Anthony Randolph is traded. We also get out of Maggette's long deal. We thing he would git in well with Phoenix and wish him luck.

Trade Approved, Phoenix GM please refrain from updating rosters until the trade is approved. I had to go find josh mcroberts, collins and diawara in the next trade you made to find out how u got Warrick. Also that trade is currently illegal so you do not have warrick.

Golden State Mikki Moore $825,497 cap hit, his contract was fully guaranteed.

Is this trade confirmed? Is there a waiting period or something?

10 hours or so before the 24 hour waiting period is up. Not approved yet. I had an email that asked me about Arenas status. Was just posting the answer for everyone to see.

The Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers have a trade to announce pending the approval of their first deal together.

The Indiana Pacers Trade:
PG Earl Watson $2,800,000
SG Willie Green $3,682,000
SF Danny Granger $10,130,500 (treated as $5,065,250 for trading purposes due to BYC status)

The Philadelphia 76ers Trade:
SF Andre Iguodala $12,200,000
PF Marreese Speights $1,658,280

While it is extremely difficult to part ways with Danny Granger, the Pacers feel it is in their best interest to move their player in a package that nets them exactly what they wanted, a young star, and a very promising prospect. We feel that we have done that in this deal where Andre Iguodala is signed to a nice contract and is a very good player in his own right, as well as Marreese Speights who we feel will be a very good power forward for years to come.

The Indiana Pacers accept.

It works with Grangers BYC. PHI accepts. We knew we had to move Igoudala with Young playing the same position..but didn't plan to move him for a SF. However this is something we had to do. Granger is a top 10 or at worst 15 player in the league. Take into account his age and very reasonable contract, we had to do this. He was the most improved player last year and only 26. We have a few not so nice contracts now, but so far we like the direction we are going.

Ok, this i twice i've heard it in the last 2 days. Let's be clear, while Granger is good, he is NOT a top 10/15 player in the NBA.

Whew, I had to get that out.

I think he is, but when you consider his age and contract (also contract situation not a 2010 FA) he's a top 10 player in terms of value, fo sho. Meh. Just my opinion.
