He probably wants to be a starter if traded. He can't play any 2 guard and neither can Rondo. House can play very limited minutes at the 2.

= not worth it.

Agreed...but all other options generally spoken about on this board are for pure points......Nate....Lue....Alston....Arroyo.....

8,5 million for a back up PG? If he was making 3 million I would be interested but certainly not at this price...

That player option for next year is just brutal. For a lux tax team this kid is a 17 mil hit for a guy who is going to struggle to beat out Eddie House for mins. We just waived Lester Hudson over less than a million bucks. If Wyc reads this he will choke on his cheerios.

NOBODY wants Ford's contract and even if his contract were reasonable he's not the same player he was when he first entered the league. He's not a good shooter and he's undersized so he's a liability on defense. His main assest which was speed has been slowed down by injury. I don't see how he helps us at all.
