The Indiana Pacers would also like to announce that they are renaming their team to the Indiana 76ers.

And Granger is most definitely a top 15 player in the NBA.

Going to the discussion board, don't want to clutter this thread up.

Pops-Mensah Bonsu was waived while the rosters was being put up so I guess he's off my roster? I'm gonna waive him and his ungurantee anyways..

FINALLY! The Raps and Pacers have agreed on a trade:

Jeff Foster $6,077,500
Luther Head $825,497
for
DeSagana Diop $6,031,800
DJ Augustin $2,374,680

$6.9 x 1.25 = $8.63 > $8.41

Bobcats accept. I save some $$ by getting rid of Diop and I really want to change the culture in Charlotte. Foster is a hard-working guy who leaves it on the floor every night. Diop has been pretty useless and Augustin hasn't adapted well in the system this season. I know Augustin will be a success, but frankly Charlotte is not the place for him to do it. Luther Head sucks, but he's been ballin recently and he's an expiring.

While it is extremely hard to part ways with Jeff Foster, who is one my favorite big men in the game, we feel we are getting our franchise point guard in D.J. Augustin. He was a stud at Texas and we feel he an extremely bright future in Indiana as our future point guard. Taking on DeSagana Diop's awful contract is hard, but it is worth it for Augustin.

The Magic and New York Knicks have agreed to the following:

Magic will send

Marcin Gortat - 5,854,000
Outgoing (BYC) - 2,927,000

JJ Redick - 2,839,408

True Total : 8,693,408

Total Outgoing (w/ Gortat BYC)- 5,766,408 x 1.25 = 7,208,010 > 7,000,000
2010 1st

Knicks will send

David Lee - 7,000,000

7,000,000 x 1.25 = 8,750,000 > 8,693,408 (Orlando's true outgoing)

Deal Works!

Trade #2

NYK will send Jared Jeffries (6,466,600) to Orlando for TPE (Hedo Turkoglu)

We're not too thrilled with Jeffries deal, but we're excited about adding David Lee to our team. He should relieve some of the rebounding pressure from Dwight and should be a perfect fit in our uptempo offense. Magic accept

CHRIS PAUL BLOCKBUSTER!

LAC Trades: Eric Gordon + Chris Kaman + Marcus Camby + Minny 2010 1st (top 10 protected)
LAC Gets: Chris Paul + Peja Stojakovic

NOH: Trades Chris Paul + Peja Stojakovic
NOH Gets: Eric Gordon + Chris Kaman + Marcus Camby + Minny 2010 1st

Why? We feel this deal doesn't make our team that much worse and when all our bad contracts come off in 2011 we should be a team ready to make a run in the Western Confrence.

Also, New Orleans waives Devin Brown

The LA Lakers and Toronto Raptors have reached an agreement on a blockbuster deal.

Pau Gasol/Ron Artest for Chris Bosh/Hedo Turkoglu

$16,452,000 + 5,854,000 = $22,306,000
$15,779,912 + $9,000,000 = $24,779,912

Deal Obviously works.

We do this deal to add another superstar to our roster. We have both Amare and Okafor capable of playing the 5 so a PF that can stretch the floor and still grab boards is an excellent fit for us. Hedo while not as good as Ron on D will still fit nicely in the triangle.

LA accepts

Accept. I couldnt trade Hedo without giving up other assets and this team I don't think can really contend. A 5th-6th seed anyways. I downgrade a bit to Gasol from Bosh but Artest is a def upgrade over Hedo and Gasol is locked up long term while Bosh was prob 70/30 to bolt. Shore up my defense and allows Bargs to be a PF. Gasol and Calderon Spanish Connection and I finally rid that mofo Hedo

Knicks accept the deal posted by Orlando with the clarification that the Knicks receive the Magic's 2010 1st round pick. So the trade, as agreed upon, is...

Magic receive:
David Lee

Knicks receive:
Marcin Gortat
J.J. Reddick
2010 1st round pick

#2
Magic receive:
Jared Jeffries

Knicks receive:
TPE

LA LAkers and Detroit Pistons have reached an agreement on a small deal contingent upon my Toronto deal being approved.

Hedo for Maxiell/Wilcox

$9,000,000
$5,000,000 + $3,000,000 = $8,000,000 x 1.25 = $10,000,000

deal obviously works

LA does this deal to get more depth in their frontcourt. We still have Luke/Sasha to man the 3 spot.

LA accepts

new version accepted. we get cp3 but lose our stud sg, top 5 center, lose one of the best expirings, and take on peja's contract. this has been changed from the original gordon/kaman/r. davis/1st for cp3/peterson deal.

Pistons accept. They move Maxiell who was underperforming, quite costly and ultimately undersized. They also move Wilcox who was stagnant on the bench. They gain a ball handling forward to take the pressure off Stuckey on offense.
