I just dropped CDR for John Salmons ...

Post#1 » by dklee13 » Sat Jan 9, 2010 12:55 am

I could have used the extra PG in my line up, but Salmons, even coming off the bench, gives better overall production. My FG% will take a hit, but I'm hoping that Salmons can pick it up. Was it a decent move?

I feel like CDR is way inconsistent, I have Salmons and he's such a painful player to pencil in when he puts up 3 pts, and when you bench him next time and he puts up 17. Hope he finds a groove 2nd half of the season.

How about them Oregon Ducks???????

I like CDR over Salmons. For now. If Salmons gets his starting gig back, then flip it.

Who else is on your team and also your waiver wire?

12 Team H2H

My roster is:

Dwyane Wade
Beno Udrih
John Salmons
Caron Butler
Nene Hilario
Anthony Randolph
Andrew Bogut
Al Horford
Andre Iguodala
Richard Hamilton
Chris Kaman
Rodney Stuckey

CDR generally gives good %s, but he didn't have the same overall stat line as Salmons ... and I needed 3s. Don't need another center, so the best other options available for me are (in no particular order) were Diaw, Marvin Williams, Thaddueus Young, Charlmers, Tayshaun, Ronnie Brewer, Courtney Lee, Ridnour, Speights, Lawson)

Young and Speights have the most upside. I'd prefer either of them over Rip Hamilton. Randolph is pretty much done now for 6+ weeks (wait for official confirmation though), so ditch him for the aforementioned. (wait for official confirmation though)

Udrih's value decreases significantly from Wednesday onwards once Kmart is back. I'd be inclined to pick up Courtney Lee, then possibly Diaw (given that you already have Young and Speights)
