Who's the fastest white guy in the league?

Post#1 » by Kid Vicious » Fri Nov 16, 2007 4:33 pm

Of all time, and also, right now.

All time, it's no contest (for me): Don Beebe.

He ran a 4.21 40 in his prime.

Right now, there's no one that sticks out, but I would go with Kevin Curtis. He never gets caught from behind.

Honorable mention to Jason 'Mr. Harmon' Sehorn and Tim Dwight.

Nah. They're not 'fast' fast

They're "deceptively" fast or "hustles" fast.

Hisforty time would say so, but having seen every one of his games here in Jax, I would say that is not the case. Maybe he jsut looks slow because he has such a long stride...?

Tim Dwight has some burners. But I think Wes Welker might be up there to.

I mean, if we're talking measurable speed, is there really a white guy faster than Matt Jones?

I didn't think there was.

Jeremy Bloom, right? He was just recently signed and he's at least as fast as Dwight, Welker, etc.

Did not know that about Don Beebe, though. Got dayum.

No one mentioned Mike Furrey, dude played in the AFL...you gotta be fast to play there. Curtis, Welker, Jones and Dwight are the other obvious names for me.

Tim Dwight in his prime was fast for a fast guy in the NFL, not just a white guy. Haven't seen him in a while, though.
