Jays Claim Brian Bocock

Post#1 » by Garmfay » Thu Jan 7, 2010 7:39 pm

Jays claimed this guy according to MLBTR :

The Blue Jays claimed shortstop Brian Bocock off waivers, according to a tweet from Andrew Baggarly of the San Jose Mercury News. The 24-year-old appeared in 32 games for the 2008 Giants, but hasn't appeared in the majors since.

He doesn't have much of a bat, as his .228/.301/.311 line suggests. The sample size is limited, but UZR/150 graded Bocock's 227 innings of work as above-average

Lol. Lance Broadway and now Brian Bocock..

Lance Broadway, then John Buck, and now Brian Bocock. When you throw in Rod Black, this season might be quite entertaining on this board.

Man, This season could potentially be almost as fun as Chien-Ming Wang vs. Bartolo Colon game.
