Nick Toon's voice has never been and never will be heard. When he interviews, he just moves his lips and they put a fake voice over it, like in old Japanese movies and stuff.

He actually doesn't speak. He communicates via telepathy. He also uses the same power to crush metal objects, catch TD's, and be awesome.

That sounds like a superpower to me, being able to communicate with a football via telepathy...

Charles Woodson has won defensive player of the month (his 3rd). He joins Barry Sanders & Mike Vanderjagt as only players w/ 3 monthly honors in same season.

So does this clinch DMVP over Revis?

Jesus. DPOM in three of the four months. That's ridiculous.

I don't know how they could justify giving the award to anyone else to be honest.

It certainly should...

Yeah, unless Revis had the greatest month that a defensive player has ever had in the history of defensive players, it should. :D

I don't think Revis won the award at all this year did he?

Looking it up...

September: Odom from the Bengals
October: Harrison from the Steelers
November: Mathis from the Colts
Couldn't find who got it in December, has it been announced yet?

There isn't a way to justify it. If Woodson doesn't win the award something is wrong.

Just saw that he's also the only NFC player to ever win the award multiple times in a single season. And he did it not twice, but three times.

We are all lucky to have been able to watch the guy every Sunday for the last several years. What a player.

Yea and it shows how sometimes life and sports are hard to figure out

Here Woodson was a free agent and pretty much no team except the Packers are seriously interested in signing him. Woodson though wants absolutely nothing to do at all with coming to play in Green Bay. So the guy who will likely be DPOY and who has been fabulous in each year since arriving, he has his agent call around to all other teams and largely gets not interested answers. Agent tells Woodson, sorry Charles, nobody is seriously interested besides Green Bay except Tampa has minor interest if you want to play safety. Oh man this blows is Woodson's thoughts.

With no other options, Woodson signs with us, but isn't happy about it at all. Fast forward to today, Woodson is playing the best ball of his career, loves playing in Green Bay, will no question one day enter the Green Bay HOF, and if he can play well over the next 4-5 seasons, could maybe make the Pro Football HOF. Plus, the potential is there to fulfill his dream of winning a Super Bowl.

THere is a great article on yahoo sports about Woodson. It chronicles how woodson went from someone who hated being in Green Bay to someone now who coudnt imagine playing anywhere else.

espn.com had an article just like that as well.

Awesome video of Woody. The way he reads QBs and baits them into throwing picks is incredible. The one at 1:10 against Palmer is the perfect example. When Palmer releases it's easy to see why he thinks his man is open, then Woody turn on the jets and he's gone.

If you put together a full length video of all his INTs, FF, sacks, and TFL and broke them down like this, it would probably be one of the most impressive you'll ever see from a CB.

I love how they show that pick he had on favre in the endzone that was called back for some b.s. reason.

I'm sure most of you read this, but this is another good write up of Charles. I've seen him interviewed in various places and he's always come off as a very smart and a somewhat reserved guy, which is not what I was expecting to be honest. The guy is a born leader and would make a great coach someday if he wanted to go that route.

I wish we had another top notch young CB that could be learning from him besides Tramon. Maybe Underwood will learn something from him because he has all the physical tools.
