WWE's biggest need?
They have a few problems these days. Great managers and tag teams are practically non-existant. The matches aren't as good as they used to be. The announcing is sub-par as well. Which of these do you feel is most important to improve the product?
For me, around the years 1994-1998 the undercard was relatively average. During this time, Bret, Shawn, Mankind, Austin, and possibly a few others were capable of 4-star matches consistently. Some of the best matches in wrestling history were from this time period so a lot of fans tend to look at it positively even with the faults. This is where the loss of Benoit and Angle has hurt the company the most. If they were to improve on anything, it should be quality of the matches.

They need better angles, storylines, and a interesting feuds oh and a good quality matches wouldn't hurt either.
Announcing is bad and the tag teams have been weak for long time they should take a look at their roster who they don't use much and pair them up and push them as a tag team with a good story line to start the tag team division again.

Re: WWE's biggest need?
I don't mind the announcing...as long as Michael Cole shuts his mouth. They need to put JR and the King back together. But they have to go back to the old days of the 5-6 legit tag teams and 3-4 managers to get the heel talents over.
Thats why I watch TNA, they don't split tag teams up after barely even reaching their potential. If TNA could bring a manager/bodyguard or something to help over a heel talent then they would be crazy.

100% agree, the last time i remember doing anything like that was when Edge cashed in the MITB, but that wasn't really a story line. The biggest surprise I can remember was when McMahon was the "greater power" for Takers ministry of darkness and another great story was who ran over Stone Cold.

I want less title changes overall, but more title matches and inevitably more house title changes.
That's something I always liked about the WCW, that you rarely get from the WWE.

Re: WWE's biggest need?
wwe also needs to make the belts mean more, now adays they dont mean to much
they really need to be made to be the most importent thing
i see dx or others main eventing shows and ppvs over a world championship witch is just stupied
also i think there should only be one world championship not 2 it devalues them

Real heavyweight contenders with some actual charisma.
We're not even supposed to like the WWE right now. It's clearly aimed at a much lower age group. And it's working.

Could you explain that statement? Last I heard the ratings are down and they cut the number of ppv's so I can't imagine that it's working.

The PG rating. Hornswoggle. Moves called the attitude adjustment. When you watch it, does it feel like a television show aimed at you? Or anyone over 16 years old? I certainly don't get that.

They're aimed towards Cena's fans. I wouldn't be surprised if most of them are younger than you, and even younger than 16.

Re: WWE's biggest need?
1. It's time to merge the brands and unify the belts - There are way too many superstars and way too many titles to go around that none of them but the WWE and Heavyweight Championships mean anything these days. US Title? Seriously? Who cares who the US Champion is anymore.
2. Get rid of ECW - It's not like it is anything remotely similar to what it was in the past anyway, so they should just get rid of it and pool all their talent under one brand
3. Let other superstars get cracks at Championship. Cena and Orton are now multiple time Championships but it doesn't feel like either one has made an impact comparable to guys like Triple H, Stone Cold, The Rock, etc.
4. Stop making matches so damn predictable - How about letting the heel characters win fair and square sometimes? It seems that a heel can only win through an interference, lowblow, or some sort of underhanded tactic that it gets so pointless to watch.
5. Get rid of that ridiculous rule wherein the Champion retains his belt if he gets himself disqualified - I've had it with these hyped up matches on Raw/Smackdown that always end in DQt just to bail out the champion and allow him to retain his belt just because it isn't a PPV event. It's a ridiculous rule to begin with.
6. Make face characters less 'annoying', righteous, and complete suck ups to the fans and the US Flag - Faces of the past used to get over the fans because of creative gimmicks, charisma, and entertaining matches. Now they get over by being USA-nuthuggers, making the heel characters do utterly stupid things, and other forms of cheap pop. John Cena has never been likeable since his face turn. He's literally been shoved down the throats of the fans.

Re: WWE's biggest need?
The belts definitely need merged. Having unified tag team champions is just stupid to me. If you're going to have 2 sets of tag belts, why not have each set defended individually? If the belts are going to remain unified and never defended seperately, what's the point of having 2 sets since there is only ever going to be ONE tag team recognized as champs?
I think the World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE championship should be merged as well.
Then have the Cruiserweight belt, Intercontinental belt, and women's belt.
So a total of 5 championship belts. I think they should also bring back the King of the Ring tournament.

Re: WWE's biggest need?
I never heard too many people complain about Hornswoggle when he was with Finley. Why is it that people are all of a sudden complaining about him a lot?

Re: WWE's biggest need?
I wasn't really watching at that point, so I can't really say. But I would guess it's because he was with Finley and not the most popular tag team in the history of the WWE.
I don't really complain about Hornswoggle; he just represents what is wrong with the WWE so well.
I think the point should be, have a title change hands on a weekly show once in a while. Even if they changed the rule, they would still have the champion retain. The rule just gives them another way for him to do it. Great list btw.
