Starting Lineups:
Nets:
PG Devin Harris
SG Courtney Lee
SF Chris Douglas-Roberts
PF Yi Jianlian
C Brook Lopez
Spurs:
PG: Tony Parker
SG: Keith Bogans
SF: Richard Jefferson
PF: Tim Duncan
C: DeJuan Blair
Well the Nets are the worst team in the league so we better win this one and hopefully we can avoid another disgusting 4th quarter collapse. The Nets have been playing half decent lately now that they're finally starting to get healthy. If we can contain Harris and Lopez this should be an easy win.
Injuries:
Finely's out for sure tonight and Bonner probably isn't going to play either.
Go Spurs!

Sigh...I'm beginning to lose faith in this team...I thought after that loss to Toronto we weren't going to lose anytime soon but then we go drop ANOTHER to Dallas in the fashion that we did...despicable. Maybe the 4th quarter collapse had to do with Pop's ejection...we'll never know. The point is if we want to truly be that championship contending team we have to start beating teams with winning records..All the wins in the world against teams like New Jersey mean nothing if we can't stay competitive with the competitive..I'll reserve my thoughts on Blair until we face off against more above .500 teams and inch closer and closer to the trade deadline..However, I have my doubts and they're likely here to stay unless Duncan pulls off the incredible and absolutely carries our defenseless front court on his back...which can still happen.

Is it fusterated absolutely. Losing to teams with winning records but I have seen glimpses of what the spurs could look like....and they look strong. The few times they have really gelled they were unstoppable. I think we just need to be patient and let it come. Its all about gaining momentum at the end of the year and staying away from major injuries.
Even if we end up 3rd or 4th seed we'll be fine. Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum are all banged up and they are the real threat.

We need to beat the good teams for me to have any confidence in this team down the stretch. Beating up on bottom feeders might boost our win column but it won't mean ish in the playoffs.
There have been glimpses but that choke job against the Mavs was a disgrace. Those guys really have our number this season.
The Lakers game on Tues will be a good indication of where we are at.

Duncan and Manu are dominating, but it is the Nets.

Wow Ian neartly bags himself a double double in 20 mins. 15 and 9 good stuff!
Manu looked real good to which is so good to see. When Manu is playing well we can beat anyone

Good win..Thank goodness for Ian Mahinmi...I want to see more Ian...He showed glimpses of what he can be and that is a regular rotation player..I liked his hustle and energy on the boards..He even altered a few shots as well...something that Blair and Dyess can't do. It's nice to add some much needed length and size to our front court and that will be imperative when we play LA in two days..Ian still has work to do..He looks lost at times defensively and arrives late on help D not to mention sets weak picks that have no effect..However, I like the fact that whatever Blair does Ian can do and then some..As unfair as it may be length and height could possibly be two of the most important attributes a basketball player (especially a big) can have..

Good to see Mahinmi get some burn. I like this part of the season, this is where Pop experiments with his lineups and we gear up for the home stretch.
