Clippers send:

Baron Davis $12,100,000, Kareem Rush $825,497, 2011 LAC 1st = $12,925,497 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $16,256,871

Baron Davis gives the Wizards a star scorer. Also the salary savings getting the Wizards under the luxury tax.

Knicks receive:
Brian Cook - 3.5 million
Jerome James - 6.6 million
future 1st round pick (top-16 protected)
total: 10.1 million

Bulls receive:
Eddy Curry - 10.5 million
Wilson Chandler - 1.2 million
total: 11.7 million

Knicks Logic:
We finally get rid of Curry. Sure, it costs us Chandler, but with Gallanari holding down the 3 spot, it's not a huge loss. Plus, we get a 1st round pick to utilize in future deals.

OKC accepts because i felt i needed a better PG who plays smarter and more under control and knows how to run a team. Im sure with a team full of scorers around him it will make things much easier on Harris. With Durant, Jefferson, Bogut all capable of scoring.

Charlotte accepts. I said it from the beginning, this team needs a change in overall culture. We've been able to win some games with Crash/S-Jax's effective wing production, but I want to become a much younger and more talented team overall. Al Horford is the type of big I'd sell the farm for, a great defender with a well rounded offensive game. Horford/Crash are two major pieces of our future. We had to take on some salary and give up some talent in Jax/Felton/Foster, but that's the price you've got to pay.

Boston accepts. Glen is part of our future and will end up a solid role player in the next 5-8 years but this deal will fortify our bench and helps our win now objective. Jax will provide toughness on our defense and offense. 2nd round pick wont hurt since it will most likely be insignificant.

Trade has had a veto request on it. 4 hours till approval.

PHI and BOS have reached a deal.

Thaddeus Young - $2,105,400
Earl Watson - $2,800,000

for

Kendrick Perkins....$4,750,000
2011 BOS 1st (unprotected)

We lose a damn good prospect in Young but we had Granger at SF taking up most of his minutes. We do this to get one of the best defensive centers in the league. He is only 25, and is shooting a ridicules .643 from the floor right now. He sets hard picks and hits the boards. Every team needs a defensive anchor and we got ours.

I'd respond with some witty retort but I don't want to get banned again. Why do you think I traded Blair for Rasho last game? I had to appease him, don't be surprised if he ends up with Granger and I end up rolling with Diop as the my franchise player...

I know I said I’d wait until Monday to announce trades...but I had to post this one. I don’t mind if Mascot wants to confirm it when he gets back or T-Mac does after 24 hours.
We get rid of Brand’s contract for a 2011 expiring. We plan on being a major player in the 2011 FA period. Costs us our 1st this year, unless we tank and get a top 4 pick.

er since DEN hasn't confirmed this yet..I assume its the same guy from the dreaded chatroom. Welcome back to PHI Brand! egh.. :(

The Pistons and Rockets have agreed on a blockbuster deal that sends Yao Ming to the Pistons.

Detroit Trade: Ben Gordon, Tayshaun Prince ($20,324,380)
Detriot Receive: Yao Ming, Kyle Lowry ($18,413,321)

Houston Trade: Yao Ming, Kyle Lowry ($18,413,321)
Houston Receive: Ben Gordon, Tayshaun Prince ($20,324,380)

Deals works financially.

Detroits reasons: Detroit take the big plunge and trade off 2 big assets in Ben Gordon and Tayshaun Prince and go for their new franchise guy in Yao Ming who is currently injured and will sit the remainder of the season. They shed plenty of long term salary in doing so and look towards the future. Detroit accepts this deal and are excited about Yao joining the lineup from next season on.

Houston accepts happily. We want to be players in this game this year and are impatient with Yao. Ming will be heavily missed here, since we drafted this guy and hes played his whole career here. Honestly Ben Gordon and Tayshaun Prince are just too good to pass up. Good dealing with you detroit, had a lot of good offers for ming, yours was the best. Also, 2 of Ariza, Battier and Prince are on the block along with TMAC's big EXP deal. Looking for a center.

The Chicago Bulls, and New Orleans Hornets have agreed upon a deal.

The Hornets send Chris Paul ($6,760,250 - BYC), James Posey ($6,031,800), Julian Wright ($2,000,040), and Hilton Armstrong ($2,801,198) in exchange for Brad Miller ($12,250,000), Derrick Rose ($5,184,480), and Joakim Noah ($2,455,680).

New Orleans Outgoing: $17,593,288
New Orleans Incoming: $19,890,160

Chicago Bulls Outgoing: $19,890,160 X 1.25 = $24,862,700
Chicago Bulls Incoming: $24,353,538

Deal Works.

The Bulls accept, we hate to do this, giving up our two best players, but feel we can't pass upon one of the top five players in the NBA, with enough pieces around remaining to have some flexibility to further expand our roster. Our center position is completely starved, but hopefully we can work address that shortly.
