This thread sucks. If Bogut is so much better, why would you make this thread asking about a trade?

Here's 2 options. Either...

a) deep down inside, you'd rather Lopez over Bogut

or

b) you're an obnoxious troll looking to brag about a player that it seems you have a serious crush on

I'm going with B. Your homosexual desires for Bogut are cause for concern. Lopez > Bogut.

I've been asking this question throughout this ENTIRE thread. He won't answer it. I just keep assuming he wants Bogut on the Nets because it's a cheaper flight from Australia to Jersey as opposed to flying to Wisconsin.

I'm pretty sure that 9 out of 10 people would take Lopez over Bogut every time.

i love lopez and im aussie. Bogutd performance against indiana and his overal stats for the year of 16ppg and 10 boards and 2 blocks on above 500 from the field must surely make this thread not laughable. chrisbh is rediculous with his threads but i will say that bogut is having a coming out party this season.

It's laughable because he's been in the league 3 years allready, while Brook is only in his second season. That's like comparing MJ when he was on the Wizards to Kobe Bryant back then.
The numbers would be in Kobe's favor but when both were prime MJ was the NBA.

From an outsider perspective (specifically a Minnesota fan), Lopez is on a rookie contract, Bogut isn't (Bogut's being paid more than 4X what Lopez is this year). Lopez is being compared to Bogut, despite the fact that Lopez is a sophomore. Not ripping on Bucks fans or Bogut, these centers are both among the best, but I believe Lopez has more value.

Looking forward to the Love-Lopez matchup tonight.

i suspect after seeing what Bogut did to Lopez in the most recent matchup against the bucks would change alot of the opinions on this thread. Bogut played with Yi, now Lopez is and i;m dissapointed with his declining production. Discuss

Compared to what Bogut did in his 2nd year (not to mention Bogut played 4 years of college)...I'd still take Lopez over Bogut every single second of every single day until the end of time. That isn't overrating Lopez. That's just pure fact.

who cares about second year, im talking about now. Bogut just took a long time to improve, but now he has. The ceiling on bogut is now way higher than Brook. Your talking about a centre that has better numbers on a playoff team that is only getting better and better, he is now a top 5 NBA centre. Please don't compare Lopez to Bogut, there is a massive difference between the 2. Also please don;t compare Bynum and Bogut, that one is even more laughable, no bucks fan would want him.

You're right Lopez is just that bad. The Bucks made an excellent decision in taking Joe Alexander over him because Bogut will make Joe into a star.

Why are we still talking in this thread. . . Bogut is having a good year and you can even make a case for Bogut having an even better year then Brook. It's close it really is but I still give the edge to Brook. Today is the 11th of January, 2010. Here are the numbers.

Bogut 15.4 pts, 9.9rbs, 1.9 apg, 1.9 bpg FG% 49.9. . . Eff% 19.71. . . AGE 25

Lopez 18.6 pts. 9.6 rbs. 2.2 apg, 2.0 bpg FG% 48.5. . . Eff% 22.38. . . AGE 21

Bogut is supposed to be this great passer yet Brook has more assists. Bogut is supposed to have this sky high field goal % yet there pretty similar, and Brook is more efficent. This is Bogut's best year and IMO, Brook's second year is better. Oh and he's 4 years younger. Enough is enough with this thread it is stupid to think anyone would trade Lopez for Bogut now or maybe ever. Bogut is GOOD Really GOOD in fact, but Lopez can be great and I'll take may chances with great. THREAD LOCKED. Thank you

Really I dont get this guy.

Why are you arguing about a #1 pick vs. a #10 pick?

Clearly if you are picked #1 in the NBA draft you have more expectations then someone picked #10. So your argument shouldnt be with Us or Lopez, but in fact with Bogut, because clearly he has not aspired to what he should be - a #1 pick in the NBA Draft.

F off!! with this BS!!!!

I have never been a troll, and I'm not going to start today. But vd, er, vh is begging us to jump on the Bucks board and ask their fanbase if we would trade Jefferson for a steaming pile of trash.

They're bitter that we got the better of the Yi/RJ trade.

They're infuriated that the Spurs got the better of them AGAIN.

They're mad that they took Alexander over Brook.

They're scared sh!*less that their FO is going to trade Jennings for Devin. Can't wait. Sweet dreams, Bucks fans. We own you...
Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.

Why would you do that? Most of our board has verticalhops on ignore.

Chrisbh...

I think we would trade two rotten farts and a bunyon for Bogut. Would that work for you? We would only do this if he kept his dirty half of a 12 year old Mexican's chinstrap.

If so... deal! Plus, we will throw in the rights to Michael Jordan.... and a time machine
