Why? I guess that means 45 minutes for AJ and season-high minutes for Orberto.

Saunders said Blatche's suspension was for actions in Sunday's loss to New Orleans. Bad week for AB after he got fined 10Gs on Friday.

A Cavs fan who is right there for every negative thing that happens to this team, oh but that's right, you're really a Wizards fan too right?

Yea for real. I mean, who is he to come in here and provide a helpful link that helps answer another poster's question. What a dick!

A helpful link? He posted Mike Lee's twitter page. My mistake in thinking someone interested enough in the Wizards to post on a forum would also follow their beat writer on Twitter.

Also I am simply making a connection to the fact that in the 7 years I've been on this site, I have only seen him post in threads similar to this one.

Wouldn't we be threatened with suspension if we did the same thing on the Cleveland board?

Also, aren't you violating some part of the TOS for not using a green font? Otherwise you just called that guy a "dick", and I was suspended for less. :)

We're running out of bodies. Sooner or later, Flip is going to have to play McGee.

Maybe they're just using this to help boost AJ's value??? :\

I promise you that:

AJ will play over 40 minutes
Orberto will relieve Wood for whatever time he sits
Orberto will relieve AJ for whatever time he sits
D-Mac will see some time out there on Tuesday night
McGee will only see time if Orberto gets into foul trouble or he will be sent-in to finish-out the remaining 2 minutes or less in a quarter.

Just an alternative perspective; I was born in DC and and the Bullets were the first team I followed. I'm a Bullets/Wizards fan first and never root against them, but I lived in NJ and my grandfathers followed the Knicks and the Sixers, and I follow those teams as well (and following those three teams is pretty tough right now). I even watch the Cavs, Bulls, Magic, and Golden State because various relatives live there and follow those teams. I've never posted on any other team's board, but I could see someone following another team (even a rival) for various non-nefarious reasons.

As to Blatche, I wonder if he was suspended because his shoes stank? I don't recall any obvious issue with him during the last game, and he didn't look as bad as his line did ( no points, -16 on/off). He just wasn't in the groove, wasn't in the right places, and it seemed like no one was looking for him.

If they aren't going to play McGee, why don't they do something to enhance his trade value? Even with his flaws, his blocks and dunks are dazzling. What they're doing now almost looks like squandering any value in a first-round pick.

free Mcgee and Arenas...but about this thread/

After the game, Blatche was seen fully dressed in front of Randy Foye's locker, spraying Foye's cologne on as Wizards trainer Eric Waters asked him if he was coming into the training room for his knee. "Do I look like i care about my knee?" answered Blatche, who then left. In speaking with Wizards staff, it was made clear that the suspension was not based on one incident...

With few exceptions, it's awfully hard to root for this collection of players.

Looks like he's giving 7DD a rest. As bad as things like this look, to me it also looks like further indictment of the lack of control exercised over the team. It makes me wonder whether in fact the only thing that was barely keeping them in line was Pollin's presence, as if they were otherwise unruly kids that felt some sense of contrition around the elderly man. It also makes me wonder how much of this Saunders knew when he signed on and whether he's questioning his choice to come here.
