Would shed 12 million and give them 28 million for summer.

Winning the grade price in the lottery is better odds than this happening.
Of all the preposterous assumptions of humanity over humanity, nothing exceeds most of the criticisms made on the habits of the poor by the well-housed, well-warmed, and well-fed.

Worst trade I've ever heard propossed.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

Not really. Ya we give away much better talent, but if we really were looking to sign anyone this offseason, or start making an immediate move towards contending, then this is a great trade.

This trade would say, allow us to go after Boozer and maybe a Haywood/Camby. Perhaps a roster of

PG: T. Evans
SG: K. Martin/F. Garcia
SF: O. Casspi/D. Greene
PF: C. Boozer/S. Hawes
C : J. Thompson/B. Haywood

And using our draft pick/remaining money to sign a veteran PG and wing.

I understand the money aspect of the trade, but why would the kings want to bolster and improve the Lakers?

That's the thing about the trade that would really hurt for me.

Beno\Brown
Kobe\Vujacic
Artest\Walton
Gasol\Nocioni
Bynum\Odom

It really makes them much better, and they're arguably already the odds-on favorite to win it all.

Try reading half of the trades offered in the trades forum. Also we get rid of Andres fat contract, so the offer is at least a bit logical in our sense.

I understand why someone would want to do the trade but I would not be a fan of helping the lakers in any way and I thiink Beno is more important to this team than most people think.

If there was a trade with us and the Lakers, that ended up giving Lakers the next 2 championships. '10, '11...but the same traded resulted in us winning the '12 title. Would you do it?

Hell yes, but there is no such trade. Beno and Noc would give the Lakers the depth they need for sure, but who knows what we're able to do with our cap space?

from an unbiased opinion (wolves fan), I think the Kings would be crazy to turn this down if they would want to be players in the FA market this summer. Gets you guys out of 2 long contracts that would be otherwise hard to dump (although Beno and Noc are playing pretty well, do you really think they are worth their contracts?)

I know it would be tough to bolster the already stacked lakers, but I think that this trade would be great for you guys in the future. It would enable you to chase after (obviously no guarantees) a young player that could come in to build around tyreke, casspi, hawes, thompson, and martin (if you don't move him).
