Hawks @ Celtics - Monday, January 11

Post#1 » by SichtingLives » Mon Jan 11, 2010 9:11 pm

Thought I'd get the game thread started, wtb please feel free to edit if you so desire....

Another tough matchup with the Hawks. I'd really like to see that we can actually beat these suckers before we more than likely run into them in the playoffs. If we can neutralize Crawford better and Sheed plays more like he did yesterday than the last game vs. the Hawks, we stand a good chance of attaining victory.

Let's go C's!!!

We need this win. Hopefully Crawford's not hitting those silly shots like he was on Friday.

The key to victory here is Rondo! He needs to neutralize Bibby's penetration and make him look like an old PG with his speed. For some reason Rondo doesn't get pumped up when we play the Hawks like he does when we play elite PG's, but Bibby is still an above average one! I like the Hawks team , but for some reason I can't stand Hortford (probably mean he's doing an excellent job as an instigator)!

Thats what they have reported. I actually wanted to see Baby start regardless. Of our bigs, he may be the most equip to guard Josh Smith (while KG is out).

It will be good for Baby, because he got his rhythm while in the starting line up last year and this season he's been struggling after coming back from injuries so hopefully he can find his groove tonight!

On the plus side they reported that KG has been cleared for practice! It's taken a while after "hyperextending" his knee! Good news though!

no Sheed or KG?

If Perk gets in foul trouble this could get ugly with Smith attacking the rim

Yeah, a bit thin on the front line, but on the plus side, Atlanta is a big team, so we can go small and maybe run a bit more.

Without Sheed, I really am not expecting much, aside from getting upset at Doc for playing Scal.

I rather they do it right this time and play him when he's ready and not send him out early and then missing another month later in the season! The injury bug is frustrating, but it was to be expected to a certain extent! When will our whole squad be whole again? The whole is only as good as the sum of its parts???
