It's gonna be tough, as tough as they come when coming up with wild card opponents. I think the big story is gonna be edelmania. Hopefully he can carry out welkers productivity.

The Pats have two keys in this game. They need to find a way to get Randy Moss the ball and get him the ball a lot. The second is finding a way to stop Ray Rice. The game will be close, but I think the Pats come up a bit short.

A general board poster, Studcrackers, does this Podcast Radio sort of thing with writers on here. Matthew Gordon (Rooster) was on today. I was on as well and talked some pats/playoffs. I come in around 10 minutes or so, the one who doesn't sound like a Canadian or Texan

Greenbeans also got to ask Tedy Bruschi a couple questions on a espn chat

Some good stuff there.

This will be a dissapointing ass way to end a dissapointing ass season. This defense is a disgrace to the old championship D's. Glad I choose to watch the Celtics game over this sorry ass performance.

This defense is horrible on all levels now! Can't stop the run or the pass! How do you fix something so broken? Would the addition of a legit pass rusher solve our issues? It helps but I don't think it solves everything!

The offense needs to devolve into the championship one's where the targeted receiver was the open receiver instead just Moss or Welker, who might not be the same again since his game is predicated on quickness. This offense doesn't even attempt to establish the run, granted we don't have great runners but damn! This O is easy to stop and that is by getting to Brady, granted not every team has the horses but its easy to game plan against!

Horrible season and I don't see it being any better next season!

Ray Rice did dominate the game no doubt about it. But the defense didn't allow Flacco to do anything and held everybody else in check. Problem was the Pats kept turning the ball over. This is not on the defense this is on the offense. Brady played like crap, the line was awful, and nobody was getting open.

This team needs to focus on just about everything this offseason and hopefully not lose Wilfork in the process.

The terrible thing about losing this early, is that ya can't even get excited about the off-season cause we're more than a full month away from it. That's 2 years in a row like this.

I dont think the Pats really expected to contend this year, why else would they essentialy give up thier pass rush with Seymour? We have 4 day one picks I believe and our most pressing needs, Rush LB, 3-4 DE, WR, and RG can be filled hopefully with good picks in this draft.

They got a steal for Seymour, nobody else gives up a first for him. I don't think it would have mattered what season the deal still would have happened.

Yeah, really shows how goddamn stupid the Raiders Organization is, how could you give up a first for a veteran who will bolt when he has his first chance to? Especially on a non playoff contending team.
