Quite a fun matchup with Gocke this week. It was big vs. small.

He was dominating all the small cats
FT%
Assists
Steals (well, this was kinda close)
3s

I was dominating all the big cats
FG%
Rebounds
Blocks
Turnovers (only dominating because of how MANY his team put up, my team is actually poor here)

It all came down to points.

Early today he went up in points off a herculean effort by Rasheed Wallace. I think Rasheed found the fountain of youth or something. (otherwise known as KG sitting out)

He put up 29 points, 8 boards, 5 3s, 1 steal, 2 blocks, 9/12 from the field and 6/6 from the line with zero turnovers.

Holy cow! I'll take that every day and twice on Sundays.

Luckily for me I had Lebron in my pocket still. And by the half time buzzer he'd allready assured me point with 21 in the first half.

Lebron James FTW.

Nice matchup though, nip and tuck all the way. It'd be interesting for us to match up in the playoffs. Him with Billups healthy and me with TMac. That'd be another great matchup.

Horror showing by me this week against jfrost. Arenas' suspension and then Lawson missing games actually worked against me, and it revealed the limitations of my team. Failing to win this week leaves me very vulnerable to the chasing pack, especially when I have to take on Blake this week.

Fran making a breakaway, with Blake a comfortable second. Teams 3-12 are separated by just 5 games after eleven weeks.

Eked out a win this week and will take it to hang in that 5/6 slot. It'll be tough next week against Sabonis, though I'm facing one of the only team who I could possibly beat in assists.

in a 200 players deep league t-mac has been dropped

I have the number 1 priority and I'm at 6th place right now. do you guys think he's worth the risk?

I have a few semi-droppable guys: Dunleavy, Barbosa and Butler.

any opinions would be appreciated

Not too optimistic about TMac getting away from Houston unless they work out a buyout. His contract is too big for a trade. At this moment I'm feeling less than 50% likely he'll play this season. If I did drop anyone, it'd probably be Barbosa as he won't be healthy at all this season.

I still doubt T-Mac's ability to play at anywhere near the level he was at.

Id grab TMac; if he lands elsewhere; I would bet he'd put up 15/5/2

I'd grab him too, dropping Barbosa. My expectations aren't too high; but, if you can afford to wait on the upside of TMac, I'd do it. Barbosa's upside only lies with Nash's injury or retirement. I'd rather be holding onto TMac this year.

I think you'll be waiting for hte trade deadline on him. But, he is healthy by all reports and looking to get paid in the off season. All he needs are minutes to shine. I think he's gonna be top 60 when he returns.

Of course, I have Tmac, so my opinion may be clouded. But, I'm not shopping him, so at least it's honestly clouded if so.

thanks for all the responses

yeah my choice will probably be barbosa, by the way he cleared waivers and nobody grabbed him. I guess I'll wait a little while to pick him up because I'm 6th right now, I can lose the playoff spot if I wait for him 5 weeks in a row

I think he's capable of posting 14-4-4 when he comes back but I've watched him a little and he has no elevation and athletecism at all.

go dominant teams
I guess the 2nd will be 9 games behind after this week
so go go go dominant teams

ROLF

btw sabonis grab or not grab tmac
I wouldn´t in a 200 players team if I would get to droop one of the 3 players you posted
why?
lots of guys said trade him for barbosa but barbosa is one guy I would like to have in the PO because PHX will probably give some rest to nash and when that happens barbosa will be hot.
Tmac also helps to fuc k your FG and TO
Lot of guys pointed he is in contract year but who is going to pick him only a team that would want exp. contracts giving best players and trying to rebuild. IF that happends they would tank so Tmac is off.

but I´m NOT a Tmac fan I think he does more bad things than good.

The league stays tight after Week 12. By looking at the preliminary results for the week, #3 (jazzfan) and #10 (Drama Llama) are separated by a measly 3.5 games.

Personally, I have Rasual Butler to thank me for stealing a 5-4 win over bww. Who would ever have thought that he would put up 33 points and hit four 3PTM, all whilst defending LeBron James?

We really should have gone with the 8 team PO's... Can you imagine the excitement. Even I would still have a chance to make it in.

Now I'm just going through the motions hoping to catch lightning in a bottle or something.

^This.

I seem to lose FG category by .003 way too often this season, on unrelated news.

Sitting in the 3rd spot, I'm still open to 8 team playoffs.

I'm not sure why 'stuck half way in' is struggling so bad. Looks like a nice team to me, and so far they are trouncing me.
