We would have Foye's bird rights and he is a RFA.

The qualifying offer would be quite high, though. Almost 5 million, are thereabouts. If we don't tender him an offer, doesn't that make just another free agent?

Yeah but why wouldn't you just tender him the one year deal at 4.7 mil? Jarret Jack got 4 years 20 mil hell we pay Eddie House almost 3 mil.

It depends on ownership. Paying 4.7 million to Foye is actually paying 9.4 FOR him, being in tax land. If Danny didn't think him worth it, he wouldn't tender it to him. That's why I like Young. The kid has a cheaper deal, and one more year which would make him a very nice pick up.

I still say Haywood and Foye are the best options for Boston. It's all about acquiring depth. And with their contracts, you allow Ainge the option of extending either or freeing up salary in the short term since they both have expiring contracts. If they can be had, I want them.
A player I've no interest in is Blatche. Isn't he another finesse player? Boston already have power forwards who prefer to play on the perimeter than the interior. Garnett, R. Wallace and G. Davis. That's enough...

The Washington Wizards have suspended forward Andray Blatche for conduct detrimental to the team. This on the heels so of a fine ($10,000) for playing along with Gilbert Arena's ill-fated pistol-with-your-fingers charade in Philadelphia that got Arenas indefinitely suspended by the NBA.
Blatche apparently has had something of an attitude problem (not really news) since the whole Arenas situation dropped and it came to a head Sunday versus New Orleans when Blatche had zero points, three rebounds and three turnovers in almost 17 minutes.
After the game Blatche dressed and immediately tried to leave without receiving a checkup or treatment on his bothersome knee.
According to Michael Lee of the Washington Post, Blatche responded to the team's trainer Eric Waters - "Do I look like I care about my knee?" and stormed out of the locker room.
The Wizards have said the suspension is not related to his actions in New Orleans. Blatche will miss tonight's game versus the Pistons, a game that should see the Wizards extremely shorthanded.
Blatche has been openly criticized repeatedly by his teammates for his work ethic and temperament. Blatche has two years and $6.7 million remaining on his contract.
The Wizards expect to have Blatche back in the lineup when they travel to Atlanta on Wednesday.

I saw you mentioned Nick Young before, I think he is a decent young player but I think he has about as much chance of playing for Doc Rivers as I do he is clueless defensively.
