16 TO vs. 7 TO. Pretty simple. Refs suck every game never an excuse. And they weren't even "good" turnovers. Just lazy basketball most of the time. Rondo drives, gets caught up, passes to no one. Perk traveling, etc...Why do people want to make more of it than it is? Give Atlanta credit. Joe Johnson was the man down the stretch.

as "mature" as we are, what are the chances that we enter the playoffs in good enough physical shape?

Rondo, likely,
Perk, likely,
Rasheed?
Pierce?
Garnett?
Allen, likely

This is not to say that we're not capable of going all the way, it's just going to take a favorable alignment of the planets or us all building Celtics Vets Knee Gods Shrines in our living rooms or something..

I don't get why we run motion offense all night and then the 4th qtr comes along and it's "Pierce time" where he holds the ball and either commits a turnover or gives it to Baby with under 10 seconds on the shot clock. We need to play our game all the way to the end

Yeah i know right azuresou1. We(Hawks) get no respect at all
“We played them here, we played them there, we played them with their whole team, we played them without their whole team,” said Crawford of the four meetings. “We match up well with those guys. We definitely respect them, but we don’t fear anybody.”

Hawks fans were griping a lot in their game thread. It's funny how it works out that way with both fan bases complaining about the worst officiating of the season.

Bad officiating happens all of the time, but nothing quuite competes with the way Bennett Salvatore bad games spiral insanely out of control. I haven't seen a game in a long time where the officials made so many blatantly not even close wrong calls (both ways).

Bad officiating and bad coaching. On Friday vs the Hawks, Crawford won the game for them. This game, J.J. and Crawford won the game for them.

A question to the coaching staff? Where was our best defensive wing player. TA should have played about 20-25 minutes. He would have been able to control J.J. and Crawford. This was a back to back game and Pierce and Ray were tired. They didn't need to play all those minutes.

Completely agreed with coaches decision to sit TA vs. Toronto, because he was playing like an idiot. However, agree with R2G that TA should have had time in the 2nd half, as well as Scalabrine.

And to Doc Rivers, I say, "Those who anger you, own you." Take your own advise Doc. He let the refs get the better of him.

I would just love to see just for a night some of the "arm chair coaches" coach for a night.....it might be very entertainment .....it might make for great reality tv.

why not give Giddens a chance on JOhnson or even Walker. let's use some of those fouls we have on the bench- at least maybe you tire him out. instead ray plays matador defense on him all night and johnson just elevates over him for the shot. at somepoint you need to get into his body and challenge him even if you draw a foul. Pierce clearly isn't back to 100% because he had trouble elevating and beating a guy like crawford should be cake for him. I'd like to see us dunk on someone for a change instead of being the team that always gets posterized. Put walker in and throw an alley oop to him.
