That used to be the case ... seems the NBA coaches now choose to trade for players they think fit their scheme (except in MN).

Curry is a good scoring pg who can play ina structured offence. I think a good option also (and probably wouldnt cost too much to acquire) is Pat Mills from Portland. He was similar statistically to Curry in college, can hit the 3, and is super fast. ANd he was drafted 55th.
