Just a terrible shooting 4th quarter, on to the next game. They made shots and got stops. We did not.

This just one of those games that a young team will have. Not all of these guys ar used to the NBA schedule so some of them will run out of gas. That's what happened our team ran out of gas. Hopefully they can get some rest and soon Martin and Garcia will be back to help cut back on some of their minutes. It will also help to have armstrong be able to give our bigs a little rest once in a while.

I was at the game tonight and witnessed the Hawes show first hand. That man is sooo soft and gives up position way to easily. I know it was Dwight Howard, but this game was less of an epiphany and more of a constant with him. He seems to be allergic to boxing out and because of that gives up offensive rebounds that we should get.

Few thoughts:
1) Obviously JT is struggling. But has anyone noticed, that it doesn't seem like the kings set him up that well. They did run a few screen and pop outs late, but other than that, they havn't been trying to feed him down low. I think this hurts someone like JT, who tends to be impatient. For one, when he does get the ball, alot of times it seems like he is out of position to do anything. For a young player not getting a ton of touches, when you do get the rock you want to do something with it.
2nd) Tying in the first point. I think just giving the rock to JT or Hawes on the block and moving it around from there would help the flow of the offense. Let guys like Omri, Kev, Noce and even Beno spread the floor. I'm telling you, there is a huge difference between dribbling around a screen or taking a step back shot, as opposed to having your feet set and being able to shoot. Thats exactly what Orlando did last night.
Obviously we don't have Howard, but still, I think getting our bigs involved can help the flow of the offense. It also helps our Tyreke , because as we saw last night, Orlando's whole defense was geared around stopping him. When this happens, kick it down low to Hawes or JT and punish them. Maybe Westphaul doesn't have the confidence to this yet, which I understand. Dunno.

Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.
That just happened.

I was at the game so I didn't post during the game. The ENTIRE game I had the feeling that the leads we were holding were temporary. It just seemed like Orlando was playing their game and the only thing that was stopping them was themselves.
The substitutions at the end of three/beginning of four killed us.

i was at the game as well.... have season tickets actually. but this team played well through 36 minutes. dont get me wrong they struggled here and there but they hung right with the magic up until the fourth quarter. u just got this feeling in the building that once tyreke came out near the end of the third quarter that the momentum went all to the magic. they closed out the 3rd quarter on a run and dominated the entire fourth. evans was on fire in the 3rd but couldnt really regain that momentum in the fourth when he only scored 2 points.
Dwight Howard absolutely dominated the entire game... would have been nice to see someone else besides hawes get a shot on him. especially since howard has been struggling offensively lately and he was killing hawes all game. and the magic played good defense but the kings also missed alot of good open shots and even more layups. it seemed contagious. evans, thompson, and hawes all missed at least a couple shots within 2 feet of the basket (but probably had alot to do with howard's block presence). and everyone was missing good looks at the basket in the second half. the fourth quarter was probably the worst quarter i had seen from this team besides the 2nd overtime in the lakers game. great 2nd half for the magic though... showed why they are the eastern conference champs
