I think that everyone can always be had - for the right price!!

How about something based around:

Hendo and Lexy
for
Your 2010 1st round pick and DeAndre?

I'll take Craig Smith.

I thought about him, but his height worries me...sort of like Bass would worry me.

Going another route...Camby for Hendo/Gana? It looks like Camby is having a pretty darn good season, but he is an expiring so maybe they give him up for the potential?

Smith's height hasn't stopped him from being productive so far in his career. I'd take Camby too I guess.

First who is Lexy? That deal is a little much for our prospect and a 1st.

How about Craig and a future 2nd?

No he's not available. He's the first pick we've had who can really play defense. How can you gauge a players potential when he doesn't even play.

Lexy is Alexis Ajinca - the 20th overall pick in the 2008 draft. A very young, 7'1" offensive Frenchman who we have playing in the D right now. He's raw, but has some good skill sets for his size. A little LMA like.

So basically, you are getting two prospects (Hendo and Lexy), one was a lottery pick and the other a mid first round pick in a recent draft for a 1st round pick (your 2010) and a 2nd round prospect big (Jordan)

Little skeptical how can he not get mintues when the team isn't loaded at PF? Overall I just wanted Henderson is a simple trade how about this Craig Smith, future protected first and the rights to big man center Sofo for Henderson and future second.

Need to remember Flip is here on a BAE 1 year deal...meaning he probably won't be here next season. If he's gone and we've dealt Hendo AND we have no draft pick that'd leave only Jax at the 2. Obviously we're in "win now" mode...but we don't want to screw ourselves too royally in the near future.

He's raw. He pretty much stayed up with the team for all of last season and just sat on the pine - which was a waste and he wasn't really learning. They want him to get some actual game time so he's been down in the D for about a month and showing some really good signs. Better for him to play and grow there than be out of his element here so that when he is called back up to the big show he can hit the ground running.

Again, he's only 21 and a sophmore.

Overall I just wanted Henderson is a simple trade how about this Craig Smith, future protected first and the rights to big man center Sofo for Henderson and future second

The pick lotto protected this year with the protection lifting each year there after (top 10, top 5 then unprotected) and you replace Sofo with Jordan?

Hendo and a 2nd round pick
for
Smith, Jordan and a protected 1st

There are other FA's that will be able to take his place if we did lose him so it's not like we would be stranded. I think we would have options.

Larry Hughes, Marquis Daniels, Anthony Morrow, Mike MIller, Kelenna Azubuike, Rasual Butler, Ricky Davis, Quentin Richardson, Dorrell Wright, Devin Brown all spring to mind.

Plus that guy out of Golden State who is having his wrist worked on and is out for the season. He's an UFA too!!

Ajinca can't play at all which is why he can't break into a rotation that consists of such superstars as Chandler and Diop.

Henderson has potential but if we aren't trading for a PF or finding a sucker for the contract atrocities that are Diaw and Diop then we shouldn't bother.

With that said how about:

Henderson+Diaw for Camby+Filler+future first rounder

or

Henderson for Deandre Jordan+Skinner+future first rounder

Unless we move some contracts (not to mention the Felton question) we're not going to have any money, and with the cap going down we probably won't even spend our MLE (again). We got a deal this year in Flip, but next season there's going to be a lot of teams with capspace and they'll most like be more willing to spend.

Never know tho.

Granted we're probably talking backup at best for the next couple of years, so I'm not against moving Hendo. If we do though I would like an impact...meaning LB will actually play him.

Or we get some good salary relief. I doubt the Clips kill their capspace this summer for Hendo however.

And I'm totally spacing on the GSW player.

Yeah right, we'll trade away Deandre or Camby seeing as we're that stacked at pf/c with healthy players.

Thornton you can have.

So you (1) think the Clippers will make the playoffs and (2) think Sterling will resign Camby?

And you clearly are in dire need of Deandre seeing how he is getting so much playing time - 10 DNPs and 11 min per game when he does get in.

I see your strategy is to get nothing for Camby and keep Deandre who hardly plays. Even the Clippers fans are starting to think like Sterling now.

I knew I'd feel dumb for not knowing...insert face palm smiley here.

Wonder if Raja would come back or would he start chasing the ring? I'd definitely love to have him, but if he can come back 100% from his injury he should get a better contract than a vet min.

I think that's pretty fair.

you guys are playing with a few cards short of a full deck. Read rumor mill, clippers could get Butler for Camby so Henderson for Camby is just halirous.
Also Diop? Really? There gonna take on top 5 the worst contract there is?
Craig Smith is realistic. Him and Lexi and the 31st pick is realisticesh.
DeAndre Jordan is realistic.
Camby plus a player? Why?
