Clear everyone?
I like both Narf and Esohny, but I gotta say, that seemed like the stupidest argument this forum has yet to see. And that's saying A LOT. Mostly cause I'm here, and not with all of my brain cells.
No, I've participated in dumber arguments...including the one I'm trying to start now.
As far as an Al for Granger trade goes I hate it. Luckily I can be reasonably certain that it was either not talked about at all or was not done so in a serious manner. Kahn does not look like a fool and has shown that he has patience, lending credence to his denials.
Granger is a role player putting up big numbers in a great system w/o anyone else around him. He is, at least from my limited viewings, best utilized as a role/support player, not someone you build around. Jefferson can be built around, and as I've said before you don't trade big for small unless you're getting a significant upgrade in return. The easiest and most common way to build contending teams is with a great player (or two) that you surround with guys who fit. The Pistons were the exceptions, not the rule. A team with Granger/Love looks to go the Pistons route, unless Wall comes aboard and is Wade 2.0.
