Is swapping Dahntay's defense for three-point shooting a good decision?

Dahntay Jones

As you guys may or may not know, Dahntay Jones picked up his first DNP-CD in Toronto. Do you agree with this decision?

O'Brien's reasoning is that we need the best three-point shooting squad we can get out there. Dahntay Jones doesn't spread the floor like Head and Dunleavy, or even Rush. Of course, the tradeoff is that we lose the team's best energy defender (until Hansbrough actually plays more consistently, I'd say).

I actually did notice his PT drop. I think he has played well. I do want Dunleavy to get some PT, but I think Jones needs some minutes, too. I am, however, glad that TJ isn't playing. Sorry TJFIG.

Hopefully I will be less busy and can post more often, I miss talkin Pacers!!

Honestly, I didn't see much from him defensively. Granger and Rush are both better and they both stretch the D. As does AJ.

I guess people were hyped because of his series against Chris Paul in the playoffs last year but all he does really is pull the chair on every play. Plus, his offensive has been horrendous as of late. I like the decision. O'brien is doing things!

He seems like the type to take any chance by the scruff, so if he gets back in to the rotation hopefully he'll be extra motivated and produce.

Guess it all depends if Luther keeps playing well enough.

Really liked him tonight, a lot of energy and toughness on defense and with the rebounds, and he was very smart on the offensive end too, drew a lot of fouls...

sometimes he makes some dirty plays but I like that :D
