Post#1 » by darbstar » Wed Jan 13, 2010 11:01 am

Would you trade Big Al for Kevin Martin??
Sacramento would probably have to throw in Hawes

C -Hawes
F- Love
F-Brewer
G-MArtin
G-Flynn

thoughts??

i feel like i've seen this offer before...

not really going to discuss the value of each player really, but does Sacto even do this? look at your starting lineup with Jefferson in it

I personally hate it because Martin is so injury prone, Hawes does not fill the void we need filled at center, he is not big strong bad and mean. He's not going to erase the mistakes our poor defensive team makes, in fact, he's Kevin Love but not as skilled but a little taller.

Hawes is a jump shooting center that can't rebound. Putting him next to Love likely wouldn't work offensively, and defensively it doesn't make us any better.

Martin/Hawes is good value, but I don't like the fit or injury risks. We need guys that are good for ball movement and can play defense.

Kind of late for that.
Flip response to Love wanting out, "He has no reason to be upset, you're either a part of the problem or a part of the solution"
