I think contending should be who does the best on the basketball court.

I think rebuilding needs to factor in financial considerations in addition to the potential of the roster. I also think there should be some aspect of financial considerations in the overall judging.

For example a team with 8 Max(or near Max) players would likely be a shoo-in for the contender(unless it was run by Isiah Thomas). However having a payroll well in excess of $100 million would be financial ruin for most franchises and that should be deducted from the overall category.

Joel Przybilla is on the market for expirings or youth.

Also willing to deal Maggette, Dahntay Jones, Dorell Wright (exp), James Johnson and/or Goran Dragic for an upgrade at Shooting Guard. Joel can of course be included in that kind of deal, as can a 2012 1st.

Also looking to offload Eddy Curry and any of the talent above, for expirings, no matter how crappy they may be.
