DON'T PANIC

Post#1 » by captain green » Fri Jan 15, 2010 4:21 am

Curiously the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias, as it fell, was, 'Oh no, not again.' Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly *why* the bowl of petunias had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the universe than we do now.

Honestly though, this is the the reason for our losses
Player Reason for Missed Game Dates Out Games W/L
T. Allen Sore Right Ankle 10/27-12/4/09 20 16-4
T. Allen Flu Like Symptoms 1/8/10 1 0-1
Daniels Left Thumb Sprain 12/8-1/13/10 17 11-6
Davis Right Thumb Injury 10/27-12/22/09 27 22-5
Davis Sprained Right Ankle 12/30/09 1 0-1
Garnett Sore Right Thigh 12/22/09 1 1-0
Garnett Hyper-extended Right Knee 12/30-1/13/10 7 4-3
House Flu-like symptoms 1/6/10 1 1-0
Pierce Arthroscopic Irrigation, Right Knee 12/25-1/2/10 5 2-3
Rondo Strained Left Hamstring 1/2/10 1 1-0
Scalabrine Right Ankle Sprain 10/27/09 1 1-0
Scalabrine Back Spasms 11/6/09; 11/11/09 2 1-1
Walker Right Knee Surgery 10/27-11/7/09 8 7-1
Wallace Sore Left Forefoot 1/11-1/13/10 2 1-1

Were not fresh and were banged up its the NBA folks. Are record is 27 -11 were 3rd in the league still.
Players are coming back. You and I know give me a healthy roster we can take back 6 of our losses. Everybody can moan about individual performances, I say give Chicago credit for a good battle and move on.

Instead of a reactionary thread, a reality thread. I like that.

It's not worth worrying about anything you don't have the power to change.

Now if I could only take my own advice, I'd be golden.

I was expecting like 5 threads about how terrible our team is, just like after every loss.

Every team's got holes, but a healthy team can go a long way towards hiding those holes. If we can get healthy we'll be alright.

That's a bif "IF" though. KG's knee is an uncertainty. After last years lies, I just don't believe any report from the Celtics management anymore when it comes to health status.

However I do agree....it's not time to panic, not even at the All Star break and we still have a pretty decent record. If this were a month before the playoffs i would be panicking because there wouldn't be enough time to get healthy and get guys going into a nice flow heading into the playoffs. So don't panic......with a healthy team this team can do it. Unfortunately I fear this may be the last hurrah fellas. I doubt next year we are even close to doing any damage.
