Probably the worst game of the season. 4-17 from 3's, 15-28 from the line. If we made 3 more 3's and 8 more FT's, we win.

The Bulls were the team with the energy. We were shot handed and old. The energy guys like TA, Walker, and Giddens were on the bench almost the entire time. Doc as done a bad coaching jon for most of the season. Is it asking too much to play Walker and Giddens about 8 minutes a game? Especially when Pierce and Ray look old on a back-to-back.

Once KG, Wallace, and Daniels come back, we will be fine. But in the mean time do we have to run Pierce and Ray into the **** ground?

doc continues to preach ubuntu when we're down 3 key guys. what we really needed last night and against atlanta was for pierce or allen to take 30 shots and get something going. johnson killed us and then last night it was deng. on our end of the floor pierce takes 15 shots or so and we're looking for baby, perk etc. I believe in sharing the bball but sometimes you need to go to your horse and Pierce is our horse

Thoughts on the game.
Deng owned the Captain, that was hard to watch.
Too bad Sheed played the big minutes against the Raptors.....giving us the win but costing us in the long run.
Doc's gotta tank and let the horses rest.
Home obviously means nothing to us.
I'll happily take the 8th seed in the east with a reasonably healthy starting 7 or 8 players and take a stab at the 2nd season.
This season is obviously our last chance to make a run, built as we are,
I guess the NBA season wasn't built for a middle aged team. My KG, Rasheed, PP, Ray Allen shrines all have plenty of wax burning for the injury gods.

7 games in 9 nights.....4 of those games on the road.......2 back 2 backs....team battling the flu bug.....missing KG/Wallace/Daniels.......Bulls had not played since Monday and had fresh legs. You gotta keep some of these things in perspective.

Great points all around. And IMO, that is why Doc needed to play Walker and Giddens about 8-10 minutes last night. This move would have matched the energy of the Bulls and kept Pierce and Ray some what fresh at the end.

The only logical answer is a tired Pierce and Ray is better then a fresh Walker and Giddens for 8-10 minutes........

Actually the difference is Pierce is no were near the class of either of them at getting his own shot. Not even close.

I disagree. Pierce can get any shot off, anytime, against anybody in the league. We have seen it before. This is the perfect case of Paul Pierce 'underration' from Celtics fans...

Exactly. A perfect example of his being underrated by "Celtic fans". Paul can take over a game any time any where and can get his shot against ANYONE. He has done it about 10 games THIS year, and about 1000 times over his career. It is moronic that in games like this, we waste possessions on Perk for god's sake, Ray shooting brick after brick and RR (who was off but who has been awesome in general). Paul needs to become more selfish actually. He shares the ball tooooo much now.

Bru. It looks like we have a few new biscuits in the oven. Pathetic. I am not worried at all. We still have one Mega Star left, RR has played like an All Star, KG will get well soon, and Danny will make an appropriate move soon. You doomsayers can go jump off the Tobin Bridge....and I hope you do or at least lose your computers.

My analytical (not my homer brain) brain says why do you think KG will get better, where's the evidence that his "hyper-extenced knee" is gonna be ok any more than Bird's back ever came back....I mean, I wish, but that's not gonna do much....

We're pretty good with Sheed nonetheless

Your best post EVER. Paul is our horse and stud and last remaining Super Star still playing like a Super Star. He is being toooo unselfish this year during some games. Doc needs to tell him to take over more - which he is more than capable of still doing.

No one will even remember this loss or the losses to Atlanta come spring time. Regular season chest pumping means little.

Return to Boston Celtics
