LOL, A Timberwolves Schism?

Post#1 » by Klomp » Fri Jan 15, 2010 8:05 am

"I was shocked when I saw how many minutes I played," Jefferson said after he playfully ended Thursday practice in Memphis by screaming for ice for his knees. "I felt pretty good. My knees are sore today. I'm mad at Brew because he made that shot. If we had won, I'd have been happy.'"

LOL.....I wish I could've heard that interview.

Jefferson working the media. He's actually kind of funny.

Safe to say we can expect 26/26 every night from Big Al?

He sure complain about his knees a lot. Maybe we should give him a day off every now and then. Has even missed a game his season?

If Big Al can only put up 20/10, then he's a bust and should be traded for expirings, immediately.

He missed November 13th(Dallas) and 14th(Memphis). Wasn't that the grandma deal?

Jefferson's numbers by month.
Pts, rebs, assts, blks, FG%, FT%
October(25min) - 10.5pts, 6 rebs, 2.5asts, 1blk, 30.4%, and 63.6%
November(33.3min) - 16.6pts, 7.8rebs, 2.2asts, 1.1blks, 46.9%, and 74.4%
December(34.2min) - 18.7pts, 10.3rebs, 1.9asts, 1.1blks, 49.6%, and 66.2%
January(37.0min) - 21.1pts, 13rebs, 1.7asts, .9blks, 48.9%, and 69%

His points and rebounds are back up to the norm, but those shooting percentages need to improve.

I do like that he's continued to produce improved assist numbers.

Al is kind of a drama queen about pain. Everytime he gets hit, he either drops to the floor or grabs his head and doesn't bother to get back in the play. I think him and Laimbeer need to fist fight everyday before and after practice.

I know he is going to break his foot off in the practice gym this summer. I can tell, the man has been pissed this season with his play. Early on when he couldn't hit shots he was always upset in the interviews. It takes forever to get back to where you were and its frustrating. Now he's going to likely miss another all-star game and he losses a lot of headway he made in the last couple of seasons.

This summer I can see him snapping. He's going to want to be a beast next year. As long as he is healthy we may see a 22 and 12 player every night. Hopefully his improvement continues and that also means somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.5 blocks and 3 assist.

That seems to happen more when he gets hit around the eyes. I think it's more frustration for him, because the dude can't get any calls.

Honestly, I wonder what would happen if some NBA refs met some of our wolves in a dark alley.

I know that Big Al and Flynn at least would rip somebody's throat out. Those guys get SOOO pissed at the refs.

I could see Corey Brewer Pulling a Joker and behind sadistically sick. He would probably involve some sort of fingernail torture and skin peeling along with maniacal laughter and that signature smile of his.

I'd rather see a timberwolves exorcism.

Wouldn't we need a sacrifice to do that?

Nah, just a bunch of holy water, bibles, and crosses. And maybe some virgins (but those are for after the exorcism).
