i don't care how much we're losing by, watching peyton dive on the ground whenever a raven gets with 5 feet of him is hilarious.

i know he's a hall of famer and all that, but he's the anti roethlisberger back there

"at least if they can do something here and get it within 2 possessions, there's at least a reason to be interested if you're a ravens fan:

such a weird season.

started off 3-0 with the best offense in the league and the defense sucking. by the end of the season the defense is playing really well, offense is horrible

You mean like the #2 ranked defense giving up 51 points? :P

Bad news guys. Someone stole my wallet at the bar. :(

Good news, it was Ed Reed and he dropped it before he walked out the door. :)

Why is Ed Reed 50:50 on retiring? He's still one of the best safeties in the league. Are his injuries that bad?

here's part of an article that sums it up

Speaking from the parking lot at the Ravens' complex this morning, safety Ed Reed said he would speak soon with his medical team about his assortment of injuries before rendering a final decision on playing again or retiring.

In a brief, one-on-one conversation with The Sun, Reed, an eight-year veteran, said he had tears in ligaments in his hip that made it very difficult to move and play late in the year. That seemed to be a more problematic injury for Reed than the nerve impingement in his neck and shoulder. He had dealt with the neck problem for the past two years.

"There was a lot of risk," Reed said about playing this season with the injuries he had.

Reed said he has aspirations to become a coach when he is finally through playing. Asked where he would like to start coaching, he indicated the college level

my opinion though is that he'll be back. he seems like he'd play through the pain if he could still play at this extremely high level, which he was over the last few games of the season after he came back. he played great yesterday imo, essentially had 2 picks and i don't think they were ever really burned because of a gamble. (yeah, he fumbled but he was holding the ball pretty well and trying to make something happen, it's what he does)

sidenote: i just went to another ravens board for the first time and they're far more upset about reed's fumble than rice's or the ridiculous play calling at the end of the first half. there are people on there that are 100% convinced that if ed had just gone down after the pick, the offense would have scored a td for sure. weird
