What would you give up for Gerald Wallace?
This dudes a beast, would be a perfect #3 for us. Athletic player, can score and rebound.
Has 20 and 9 tonight with 6 mins left in 2nd quarter!
Having a 1-4 of Rubio-turner-wallace-love could be pretty sick....
Okay, what would you offer for Wallace, lets hear it!

Re: What would you give up for Gerald Wallace?
I guess that was funny.....
Anyways he has 24 and 11 at half tonight! I'm streaming the game and he's just beasting!
He's what we need scoring wing who can rebound (11.5) a game, such a high energy player. If the bobcats need a PF, lets send them one + their mid 1st round pick back.
build around rubio-evan turner-Wallace and Love or Jefferson...wohooo

Re: What would you give up for Gerald Wallace?
I wouldn't make a deal for him unless he came cheap, or after the draft/free agency. I'm think that with 3 1st round picks and the cap room to offer someone a nice contract. If we came out of the draft with one of Wall, Turner, Johnson, Henry, Aldrich we could have that nice young core. Plus if we sign someone like Gay, Outlaw, or anyone to a max deal then I'm not sure if he could fit into a talented rotation. Obviously he's a very nice player but I think he's already 28 or so right?

Re: What would you give up for Gerald Wallace?
Why does Charlotte want to trade their best player? They have so much salary committed that there's no point to trade him for a few young players.
That said, I might give up Flynn and Blount for him...

I guess I just don't see us landing a top flight FA in the offseason, I hope you're right though. I think our better option will be to trade for a guy who can play.

Re: What would you give up for Gerald Wallace?
^Well I'm thinking we could get someone like Gay, if not maybe Outlaw who would be a nice fit here. Then I'm hoping we can get Turner.
Flynn-Sessions(Rubio)
Turner-Brew-Ellington
Gay/Outlaw-Gomes maybe-Brewer
Pf-Love-Gomes
C-Al-Hollins
Unless we would package Brewer, Gomes, and some exprings/picks to get him then I don't know if we have enough minutes for everyone.

well if we don't land a Johnson or Gay which is VERY possible....sure we might get an outlaw type....but I can't say with a straight face Outlaw is a huge upgrade over Brewer/gomes.

Gay is a pipe dream. I think Memphis matches up to $13-14 million/year.

Re: What would you give up for Gerald Wallace?
Personally, I think our money is better spent on Outalw than Gay. Outlaw is two years lder, but per 39 minutes (what Gay averages), Outlaw's numbers last year are identical to Rudy Gay's this year. Outlaw is still only 25.

Re: What would you give up for Gerald Wallace?
yeah so if we don't get wade, lebron, bosh, amare, gay, johnson...which is probably more than likely.....
what are we left with??
I think our better option is to trade expirings or players for guys in the league under contract whom may not fit a teams plans anymore, but could be good here.

I'm just too lazy and not creative enough to create some reasonable trade so I made this quick offer.

Let's see... Gerald Wallace...
2005 - Seperated shoulder, concussion
2006 - Concussion
2007 - Concussion
2008 - Grade 3 (worst kind) Cuncussion
2009 - Fractured rib and collapsed lung
2010 - RIP
I don't think I want a guy who's late in his career and never stayed healthy a full season. Every time Gerald Wallace steps onto the court, it's legally another attempted suicide.

No offense to Bobcats fans reading this, but I think the Bobcats front office is blatantly insane. I can't tell what direction they're going. It just looks like a bad remake of the Christmas Carol.

i've only seen 2 Bobcats games this year, so my sample size is limited, but Nazr is actually looking good this year under the Larry.

I wonder what grade my concussion was when I was 11 years old out sledding when I got hit by a fat kid in a intertube and slammed my head against a solid block of ice. I lost 2 weeks of memory and didn't even know who I was for a while. I'm guessing grade 3.5f (f for fat kid).

Re: What would you give up for Gerald Wallace?
Hilarious. And no, Wallace won't be traded. Especially not for the garbage from the 2nd worst team in the league.
Oh, and enjoy the lottery for the upcoming 8 seasons.
